Course is designed to provide fun for all ages and skill levels, requiring different kinds of shots via doglegs, elevation, and obstacles for fun and learning/ developing skill at the game-- without risk of losing any discs :)
The Park is off Dowlin Forge Road at Shamona Creek Main Park, not Shamona Park on Peck Rd. Don't use Udisc directions with Google Maps - they will send you to an adjacent neighborhood :( (Apple Maps and Waze will work) Search LYA Shamona Main Field on Google Maps for accurate directions.
Please note the Mando on 3 and watch for a clear path on 2. Can be played before or after Kerr Park only 15 minutes away on bike via local trails to make a 27 hole outing.

Great little challenge! Some tee pads are a bit short and signs close to tee pads. Great views and even a stream to cool off in..if it’s not crowded a great field for field work too.

Well-kept course in a nice park, but some criss crossing of lines and proximity to non-DG activities has it marked down. Many birdie chances and ace runs for intermediate players. Good for beginners but some challenging lines for more advanced players. Distances are short, so much more about technique than power.

Very well maintained 9 hole - Beginners to Intermediate players will love this layout - the more advanced players will love the layout but it may be considered shorter by their standards. Great baskets, GREAT hook on the back of hole markers for your bag .. The course is absolutely beautiful.

Whoever decided to put the “tee signs” directly to the right of the tee pads wasn’t thinking clearly. Watch out on your follow through for RHBH players
