About the course
Diamondhead Lake in Dexter Iowa used to boast an 18 hole championship level golf course back in the 1970’s and 80’s. However, since the spring of 2021 it’s been transformed into a championship level disc golf course. The course starts out with a couple of tight technical shots and then kicks back into the fields for some distance
where you can let em rip. Getting out of here with par should feel like a big win! Plenty of par 4’s and holes to score on, as well as some birdieable par 3’s. Water hazards and unique greens make for an interesting and challenging round.
Temp signs are up. Still a work in progress but we'd love to hear your feedback.
This course will only continue to improve over time, and will host some amazing tournaments.

Played it again and I’m amazed at how fun the different layouts are. Great from shorts or longs, but the work they did out here is awesome! Must play in Iowa. Top top

Great course set up with a unique twist and still giving it a professional course feel all together. Wide variety of trees, open fairways and distances per hole. Enjoy playing it as I can play the long tees while my son can play shorties.
