This is one of the best courses you will ever play. It doesnt require crazy distance, but 275-300 controlled is a must to shoot par. Its a hike, not a course you will want to play 2 rounds at in 1 day. But it gets the blood pumping and you won't feel the need to go to the gym after. The course tests all shot shapes and disc selection is key. Keep it in the middle and you will be rewarded, miss your line and you will be punished. The fairways are FAIR and that is what makes it a great challenge. The tee pads and benches are the best you will ever see. The amount of time and money that went into that infrastructure is unmatched. Most courses have a bench for 2 maybe 3 people, most of these can sit 6.

I love this course so much. No there are not all the “amenities” (yet) but it’s amazing in every way that is it. There are bathrooms! It’s so nice you come back by your parking area several times if you need more water, to use the bathroom or whatever. The course is so well designed, great placement golf, so ac Ed out par 3,4 and 5s. I love playing here. It’s about 20 flights of stairs and 4-4.5 miles of beautiful hiking. The plants, trees, critters are extra joy, at least 10 varieties of ferns and so much more. Becky and Adam are great hosts and you don’t want to miss any opportunities you get to play here. Thanks for all the hard work they and their friends put into the place.

This is a really challenging course, but the good news is that so many details have been seen to; the tee boxes, stairs, drainage, trimmed fairways, and bathrooms. This course is worth the stop, and it just keeps getting better and better

So seldom do we encounter a course with terrain this dynamic, a venue this pleasant and a challenge this varied. It's tough as nails but such a joy to play. I was grinning from start to finish. Add it to your wishlist and stop at nothing to get here.

I love this place with my whole heart the blood sweat and tears Adam, Becky, and friends have poured into the place shine through. Tight lines, elevation, and shot shaping is what to expect when you step onto this property. From hole 1 to 18, it keeps you on your toes every step of the way.

Stunning property and it is so evident that it was designed, built, and maintained with absolute passion. This course is way above my ability level, but I am still able to enjoy playing it every time. Be prepared for a hike! No running water yet, but even the outhouses were lovingly built. This is an absolute must experience course.

The course is beautiful challenging and relaxing all at the same time. Tight lines and well maintained fairways reward accurate shots. The rough is beginning to be more forgiving. Great course for a beautiful round and a workout on the hills.

Out of nearly 300 played, Harris Hillside is definitely among my favorites! Adam and Becky Harris turned this beautiful hillside into a very unique and exciting course. This course has character, beauty, and some of the best holes in all of NY state! From the moment you step on hole 1’s tee, you’ll begin to get an idea of what awaits you. A beautifully built Teepad, an 80 foot elevation drop, a picturesque staircase, and a basket tucked just behind a patch of ferns. Enjoy the downhill while it lasts, you’re headed straight back up on the next one! You’ll meander up and down the hill twice before reaching hole 6’s basket — be sure to take a picture, as this will be among the prettiest greens in disc golf when completed. A short jaunt back up the hill takes you to hole 7 — what just might be my favorite disc golf hole in the world. A swinging bench and a beautiful view over the valley below await. This downhill par 5 drops nearly 115ft into the valley below — before climbing slightly through a wooded corridor to the green. While a relative short par 5 in terms of effective distance, you’ll be hard pressed to score a birdie on this one! Take a rest on the bench of hole 8 to reminisce on the first of 3 par 5’s at this property. Be sure to catch your breath before climbing the mountain that is hole 9 — not too many tougher 400’ par 4s out there. Take a quick break before you head to the back — you’ve done most of the hill climbing — but plenty more challenge and beauty awaits. As you make your way throughout the course, be sure to enjoy the great scenery, beautiful benches, and abundant wildlife present on the property. The back nine loops you through the southern portion of the property. Hole 10 is a great placement par 4, while hole 11 is a fun, but blind downhill ace run. Hole 12 is among the most unique holes I’ve ever played. 100ft of elevation drop, multi option fairway, with a beautiful hemlock forest and seasonal creek encircling the green. Get your birdies on 13 and 14 to make up for that double bogey you took on twelve before heading out towards hole 15. One of the many signature holes, Hole 15 plays out into the pasture area before making a sharp right turn, downhill, and over a (future) pond. One of my favorites for sure! 16 is a shorter uphill par 3, where the (future) pond sneaks in on the left side to catch errant shots. Hole 17 is another one of my favorites. Be sure to miss the gong hanging on the center tree that defines the multi-option fairway before you head up the hill, around a corner, past the ford truck, and down to one of the most beautiful greens on the property. Play this one for placement, and you’ll be rewarded — try to bite off too much, and you’ll be punished accordingly. Hole 18 is a great par 4 to finish — play aggressive for an easy birdie, but risk a double bogey, or be content with chipping it up the fairway and collecting your par. A great score separator to finish. Well… if you can’t tell, I love this place! I could write for hours about the fun rounds and great time I’ve had out here — but I’ll save that for later — you’ll just have to come visit and find out for yourself.

This is a beautifully laid out course and a challenging track that requires both accuracy and distance. Great use of elevation and tight but fair lines predominantly in the woods. The tee boxes are very nice with some great touches throughout, including a nice swinging bench at the turn. It is certainly a bit rough in spots, but it's a new course so to be expected. And even with the work to be done, I'd rank it in the top tier in the state. I look forward to seeing the course mature in the coming years!

Harris Hillside Is destined for greatness. Already has an alpine vibe with severe downhill shots and hemlock forested fairways. Sustainable tees, stone terrace, and camp make the time here memorable. Adam and Becky Harris are polishing a gem.

Beautiful from tee 1 to basket 18. Next level use of the woods and elevation changes. Holes 7 and 9 loop you back up to the parking lot if your looking for a quicker round.
