Nice to have some benches to sit after climbing the hills. Not all signs still have information posted, but with the app you don’t need them. Just had heavy rain recently, so there were some ruts in the paths. Discs are hard to find and recover in some areas especially when they land and stick on a 70 degree slope 20’ up or down the slope. You have to wait for some hikers that also use the paths. Plan during early morning or mid week for low traffic. I was there on a Saturday morning and we had to wait about every other hole for people to pass. Not too bad though. Very fun and challenging course. Going to be a regular course for me from now on, but probably not in the summer with the heat and dry grass.

This is a hiking course! An absolute gem in the right conditions, and by that I mean not during the summer. Some serious uphill, downhill, and everything in between. Definitely a throwers course. From what I was told the lower course is just as much a throwers course as well. Tee signs are nonexistent so use Udisc, obviously. Would consider this a destination course during the right time of year and if you can play both courses.

@oneilrowan
One of my favorite. Challenge yourself.

@joetzbz
This course kicked my ass. Lots of elevation gain and foxtails. Starts and ends like a typical long valley bomber course. Holes 4 through 13 are why you really must play this course.
@jimnielsen1
Cool rugged terrain course with BIG up and DOWN shots! Grasses are tough if throw an errant shot. Worth the effort.
@mooser81
Absolutely amazing course!! Ups and downs, lefts and rights! Every challenge possible when paired with its sister course! A must try!
@topher4201
Crazy elevation gain and loss throughout the course. Beautiful views and some real monster holes!
@mattydoinks
Played a ton when used to live here. Cleaned up a lot but signed sucked completely burned off with the heat 😭😭

@nomadnick
Very high grass and tons of gopher holes and bugs in said tall grass. Lots of hiking trails so constant people (at least on a nicer day), broken glass, personally after having to stop a lot for people and skip several holes at the start due to families with blankets and folding tables and seeing that us how the last few holes were also I decided to cut out and find something less frustrating to play on. Seems like a very interesting course to play if there were not so many people out and if they maintained the tall buggy grass but this as is this is not a course I would enjoy
@johnc19
Beautiful and challenging course with a lot of variety. Great workout!

@mranderson13
Just needs better signage that's all! One of my favorite course(s) in all of Cali!

@msheddan
Great course- but be ready for a hike. Lots of elevation. Use every variety of shots in your bag. Must play if in area

@arthurkaplan
Hard as fuck but cool

@kimsungdo
A lot of uphills and down. Definitely a course to play in winter. The tall straw like weeds which stick to everything and poke you through your socks are EVERYWHERE! so if you’re going to play wear thick socks or something high where the weeds won’t stick to you.

@chenry97
Hard in the summer and you better bring some good walking shoes WITH support! Fun elevations and interesting hole designs on a dry foothill/mountain looking over Hart Park and The Kern River 👍 Summer is a death sentence but fall is nice!!

@jehrimiah
Great course, with amazing elevation challenges. Hole 11 is the only fox tail problem, but I’m a lefty so that hole is made to make my life rough
