@noahstephenson
Signs don’t have distance, no tee pads, but some good short ace run holes. A decent little 9 hole, back 7 holes are wooded. Good flowing layout
@rastnav
Nice, short 9-hole putter/ace run course. Great for beginners as most shots play around 100 to 150. Gets progressively tighter through the 9 holes. Tees are dirt and not really level at all, but not bad enough to really matter. I really appreciate that this isn't another "course on soccer/baseball fields" like it could have been in this park. I'm really glad they used the woods they have to make this layout.
@dempsey0311
Small pitch and putt with the first 2 out in the open with a little play off a couple trees and the rest are in a tight walking path. Bring a walking stick to get through all the spider webs.
@lparker1977
Super easy fun little course. Some tight fairways. Lots of trees.
@nadtocs
Poison ivy in fairways and wooded areas. Fairways weedy. A little work with a walk behind Bush-hog would do wonders here. Fairways are narrow so it does not take much to end up in the trees/poison ivy. I lover this course in the fall.
@irishbull69
Great for what it is.
@benjisharib
It's a very short putter, only nine hole course.,
@heath5646
I bought a rake and raked out fairways for holes 3-9 and took the dead trees and lined the fairways with them otherwise the course was pretty rough
@foyboy89
Glad there is a course 10 min from my job! But needs a bit of work tee area needs at least a second brick so you have a tee pad vs a single tee marker with no indication of how wide you can step. And fairways need some cleanup from the original clearing.
@heibelm
Fun short putter course. Definitely bring long socks or pants, theres poison oak everywhere.
@caddywhomper
Watch your footing. Lots of stumps and uneven ground. Also ensure you prepare for tics.
@forkznspoonz
for what it is its not bad. It's good for a lot of mid range shots an putting. Just check for ticks after play.
@kmcclees09
Cheesy messy and not really fun
@chris1189
What you would expect from a new woods course, it will get better with usage! A putter and mid is really all you need. That said, it’s the best course east of New Bern. Safety tip, check for ticks!
@henryastyron
Good putter and midrange course to tone in the short game. Well done havelock.
@swaimz
Fun for what it is. Less debris than previous. They need boxes bc it's dangerous as is with roots on tee area.
@mystermag
Great little course. Challenging and fun. Short game is tested. New tee signage is up, and the course is getting beat in pretty good. Still some cleanup is required, but it’s a great little “after work” course. Highly recommended for everyone. The trees and tight lines will give experienced players a challenge, and the short distances give newer players a fun time.
