@bwick29
Sad to see this close. It looked set up to fail by the city. All cut trees and brush just left in place, no signage, no care at all.
@mattmarkham
The layout here is fantastic. Really could be a desirable 9 hole course. However, it just needs some upkeep to get there.
@uncletomsb
Finally got to play around last week and it was great course very difficult. I’m so sad that it’s going to be gone after the first of the year. The city is taking all the baskets up.
@dfink17
Multiple pars are incorrect. In the woods and very easy to lose a disc. Don’t recommend
@jeffaleman
Crazy wooded course with long holes. A mini New London in the heart of Lynchburg. Use uDisc to navigate it. 2025 update: Shame on the city for neglecting and finally closing this place and shame on the players who didn't take advantage of the course.
@codybowman
Challenging and not fair. Some holes are par 3s on udisc but are realistically par 4 or 5. Too many trees leads to unkempt fairways which leads to the intended way to play each hole as unclear. Don't come here if you are amateur or intermediate. Only come as advanced if you want your ego deflated.
@egazan
Crazy wooded course. I’m sure it’s only playable in the winter, with the crazy undergrowth in the summer. Wouldn’t play again
@adearth18
All the previous reviews are correct this is a nearly impossible course with a plethora of stumps and pot holes to roll your ankles. Do yourself a favor and play one of the other great courses Lynchburg has to offer
@jjberrigan
Changed some holes to par 3 that definitely are not par 3's
@mclaughlinreed
If you ever wonder what playing disc golf in a post apocalyptic world would be like… look no further, Heritage Park’s dilapidated course will more than satisfy your curiosity.
@tspi99
The course needs a lot of love for me to ever consider playing it again. It is very swampy and overgrown. There is no upkeep. The course is completely unmarked following hole 2 which is a big problem because the baskets are not visible from the teepads on most of the holes. The teepads are also an adventure to find as it requires lots of doubling back and finding hidden trails.
@madisonhmunck
Just needs some TLC other then that great 9 hole
@samruegy
It’s overgrown, but it has a solid, wooded, technical layout. Be ready to hit some trees.
@jonrehm
Will be awesome one day. Needs some TLC, ie. Played more to get beat down, a few clean up days and signage, she will be good to go. Hole 1 is a uninviting start.
@blazinsquatch
Wooded, technical course. No free pars.
@sgtgrumpypants
Heavily wooded course with almost impossibly tight lines and very thick undergrowth in the woods. The lines are generally so tight and the rough is so thick that the difference between a birdie and a bogey is largely luck for intermediate players. Needs to have some trees removed in the fairways to make the course less frustrating and more fun.
