Loved the course. A few holes feel a little extra brutal with a larger luck element than I would like when getting through trees, but overall enjoyed the course a ton. It is hard. Off blue tees I was able to score a few birdies and was up for birdie another 3 or so times. I can drive about 400ft. Shot variety is great, lots of shots for forehand and backhand alike. Flex shots, turnovers, the works. The rough can be thick and unforgiving. No issue finding discs and there wasn't much spiky brush, which was nice. TLDR - you're going to hit a few trees. The rough can be thick - watch where your disc goes. Lots of par 4's, a few par 5's and 2-3 short par 3's. Not a course for beginners. Very pretty, well designed and challenging. Great tees, they're concrete and very new
@bryfultron
The most beautiful course ever but not for the faint hearted.
@lafayette
Very challenging course but lots of fun. Not much difference between tee boxes. Mostly designed for big guns. Need better direction from basket to next tee box if not familiar with course. Definite will play again.
@danchilwell
Difficult course by design, but still a fun one to throw. Could use a few picnic tables here and there. It's my local so of course I'll be back.

Signage could be better. Benches would be nice. Go prepared, no where to get any drinking water.
@minshep
Lots of fun. Definitely worth the trip. Cabins are very nice and clean.

Im a 970 rated open lefty player. Shot a 68. No practice. No second shots. I played conservative. I would recomend keeping your energy up if you want to finish strong in the heat. So much elevation. Uphill, down hill, over canyon shots. Birdies were hard to come by. Pretty cool course. I was able to navigate the course well with a cart.

As someone who loves wooded technical courses this has the potential to be my 2nd favorite course after ymca of the rockies but I spent more time searching my disc's under piles of leaves than I did playing. Was -2 after hole 15 on the short tee offs but ended up skipping the last 3 holes after being here for 2 hours playing solo.

Really cool place!! Tough course better have your big boy pants on, championship, caliber course for sure!! Can’t wait to get back out there, once it’s been played more and cleaned up will be one of the top courses in Louisiana hands down!! Thanks for all the hard work getting this place opened!!!
