@cblupo
Even if in decent condition it would be unplayable just from the amount of spider webs
@rokcar
Absolutely beautiful course that just needs to be beat by feet a bit and maybe have some trails between holes. A few places it's tough to find the next hole. The shorts are a bit longer than the signage. A few 220 footers are closer to 270 when we used a range finder. Beautiful course!!!
@henryastyron
This course is in need of maintenance yes. It’s thick woods so you can expect limbs and a bunch of leaves. The shot shapes required on the course is fantastic. I think this course could be just as tough like Chimney Hills from longs . The course is tough and requires you to hit your line . Yes it needs maintenance but this course doesn’t deserve a 3.6 it’s too good. I’ll be coming back for sure as I just moved to Burlington. If you talk crap you played bad!!! It’s tough you can expect to bogey a lot. I’m an advanced player and played the blues. It’s tough so what! I’m willing to get with the community and get this course where it needs to be. It has been my favorite since being out here. You have to be dedicated to disc golf to play this course. If anyone wants to help clean up the course. Give me a call. 252-269-3754. I’m going to see if I can’t talk to the lead supervisor or grounds keeper of the park to see what they think about getting a clean up going for a course that is a gem!!!
@whip77
Signage is terrible. Feels like the course has been left behind. 14-16 super unclear. Needs updated signage and indicators on baskets to next hole. Almost walked past a couple tee boxes. First time here, will probably be the only time 🤷🏻♂️

That was a safari! With proper upkeep and some work this could be an amazing course. The front nine is beautiful and fun. Finding your way from 7 basket to 8 teepad is tough. Long trial that loops up the hill. Super challenging, fun shots. Great baskets. Tee pads could be fine if maintained. The back nine: just don’t even attempt playing it unless you hear significant work has been done. There has been major flooding. Like water level above the basket flooding. The mud is something you would encounter in a marsh when the tide is out. It’s slippery and dangerous. 14 is almost completely impassable. Idk who is in charge of this property, but a lot of work needs to happen out here. The back nine should be closed in its current state. DO NOT bring children out here. It is unsafe. If you feel you still need to come out here, play the front and call it a day. Bring a disc retriever because there are some deep creeks that you cannot get into. I honestly don’t know how I came out with all my discs and no injuries. You have been warned
@cammace
Needs some maintenance but the park is beautiful, and the course has a wide variety of shots
@eoghana
Plays like an unfinished course. Too many holly bushes and underbrush cluttering the already very specific landing zones. Rewards luck way too much. Fairways need more refinement.
@rjb298
It just needs maintenance….could so easily be the best course in the area. The land is gorgeous and the potential is all there…just badly needs maintenance
@flannelman
This course was put up around a hiking trail that previously existed and that’s exactly how wide your fairways are. Super unforgiving with more than enough trees to smack into regardless of your shot shape or distance. Pair that with poor underbrush maintenance and it can be really hard to find a disc after the inevitable kick. Tee pads are a rubber mat mixed with gravel and fallen leaves everywhere. Good time if you’re looking to pull your back. Hike was really nice though.
@joeaaron93
If you want to go for a nice hike, take a couple of mids and walk the back. The front nine isn't worth the time. Plenty of other options in the area
@jackbees12
Needs tlc
@williamoliver
Fun shots. Hard to navigate at times. There were thorns, but they were avoidable. I liked the tee pads. Lots of tight lanes to throw. Also: water.
@beavertail33
Great course! A little bit of everything. Some tight fairways and some wide open field throws.
@recklessrandy
Great course, great design. Challenging but fair requiring all shots.
