This course needs a lot work to be worthy to play. Have teepads and parking lot though.
@sdolling
Very beautiful Course here in July! Love the fernields, just have a spotter on the longer fairways, and don’t use fern-colored discs!
@judgejames
No elevation gain/loss on tee signs, and there's lots of it.
@brandondisx
Demanding course with angle control needed to score. Use spotter on #12. Great course design that tests your shot variety.
@timherbert
Fairways are clear of ferns:) The only hole that really needs a spotter is 12. Blind, downhill dogleg left with a side hill landing. Could go anywhere. I solved the problem by blowing my tee shot and leaving it short on the corner. Not a bad move if you’re solo…fantastic tee pads, fun and scenic course.
@gmjjb84
We had a great round. For our first time playing in VT. I found the course plays short with tight lines but not impossible. The signage we good and with U- Disc app as back up if you needed to confirm any aspect of a certain hole. The tee pads are great big level and all good signage. They were clearing the fairways of ferns as we played so the previous spotter necessity wasn't so much of an issue. The ferns that are off the fairway, they'll give you an indication and how hard it must've been to find your disc, but they did a great job cleaning it up. Beware of ground bees are wasps at the back left corner of the number Five tee box! By the time we noticed them they were already in attack mode. The scenery was amazing all in all a very positive experience for my first Vermont course I will play here again in a minute.
@drumsounds
Lots of reviews complained about fern cover, they’ve cleared it up a lot. Many birdie-able holes but fairways are tight, lots of trees, no open holes. Paths to next hole aren’t very clear, pretty confusing on the back 9. Overall fun and technical course. Finished in a little over an hour playing solo. Nice hiking trails all around too.
@calmarsden
This course has a ton of potential The ferns right now are a bit of an issue but more foot traffic will widen some of the walking trails Prepare for a very technical 18 holes up a mountain and a nice relaxing walk down Amazing scenery
@matrickpurray
An excellent woods course with well thought out pin locations, elevation changes and tight lines. A unique use of a recreation area as it intersects a mountain bike trail but never interferes. I would recommend this course to anyone
@bengrahamputter
Good course with potential to be great with some love. Knocking down the ferns and a couple of walkway/bridge projects would take this to the next level. Maybe a BYO weed wacker dubs league would take care of it in no time.
@potter74
Only issue is the ferns. It's breaking olin nice for a new course but losing a disc in the fairway to the ferns is the only issue. Definitely needs to be cut down but it is certainly beautiful. Still a good course
@soonerdiscguy
Very technical indeed. Plenty of trees to hit for sure! Not much in favor of Hole 14 fairway thru the muddy creek. Ugh!! Yup, directions back from 18 would be nice. Not one of my favorite courses that I’ve played.
@shadrobey
This course is underrated. There are some unique tee shots you just don’t see elsewhere. The pads and baskets are excellent. Sure it could use a little more cleanup but the land it was on its very rough so you have to give them some credit.
@bosoxdanc
Enjoyable time, and there's some really pretty sites to be seen. It definitely needs some upkeep done, and the tee signs are quite inaccurate.
@conorreeves
Hats off to Chris and Avery for designing this wonderful course! Great tee pads, signage, and fun yet challenging fairways that make great use of the elevation changes throughout the course. The course is easily navigated, markers on the baskets and flags along the trails between fairways make it easy to find the next hole. Make a point to visit this course if you’re in the area!
@sperrin03462
This is a great course. Love, the fact that it’s all wooded with the variety of shots and opportunities for local routes. The fries need to be played in a little bit, but this is going to be one of the best of the area.
@pickvt
Cool new course! Could use some between hole guidance on the longer walks… between 7,8,9. Couple tee signs inaccurate. Definitely needs direction back to the parking lot after 18 … but beautiful 5 min walk back with a long boardwalk. A lot of tap in pars. Some really cool holes, and some repetitive ones. Good hike. Will be back… fun times.
@scream
Potential to be a great course- a progress still in the works
@offthewalski
Amazing for a brand new woods course. When the tee signs go in and course officially open it's going to be epic.
