Ideal Frequent Flyer Putting League is an indoor winter putting league that meets Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM at Epicure Brewing, 40 Franklin St Norwich Ct. Format: There are five putting stations at varying lengths. Players get three putts from each station. Points are awarded for each putt made with an additional point awarded for making all three putts at a station. Station one is a twenty foot putt to a marksman basket, putts are worth one point, total four possible at station one. Station two is a thirty foot putt to a regular basket, putts are worth two points, total seven possible at station two. Station three is a forty foot putt to a marksman basket, putts are worth three points, total ten possible at station three (you are allowed to step-putt at station three). Station four is a twenty-five foot putt through a triple-mando metal step-ladder to a regular basket, putts are worth three points, total ten possible at station four. Station five has two layouts, depending on weather, in good weather it’s an elevated shot to a regular basket on the loading dock from the drainage grate (you are allowed to step-putt); in bad weather it’s and elevated shot to a regular basket on the first set of stairs, this is a straddle putt mando with one foot out the loading dock entrance, putts are worth two pints, total seven possible at station five. Please check in when you arrive. Entry to the putting league is $10.00 per person, per week. There will be four rounds total for each player to try and score points, split in two halves. Players visit each station twice, then a half-time break before continuing to the second half. Players will be sent out in foursomes to each station with a scorecard, for a shotgun style start. At the end of your round, please turn in your scorecards. Scores will be cumulative for a total of all four rounds of putting, with payouts to the top players. Payouts depend on a number of factors, like how many players show up. At the end of the season, we will award additional prizes and swag. **Please note: While we try to have the stations set up to minimize noise, and ancillary damage, please be aware of the other patrons around you. Please do not “full send” any putts.
