@kendrikus
Too much bush, too much overlap and danger of being hit with crossfire, little to no signage
@odysseus7
Great course but...safety is a massive issue Don't bring children Don't come if your pregnant Or new to the game, or if other people are there, or if you value your life... Very risky business.
@lukeariel
Not a great design.
@sevendead
UDisc maps recommended for play, no signage yet or indications what is teebox one. Baskets have arrows attached underneath to point to next basket. No signage yet, gets a bit chaotic when busy with fairways crossing over each other and baskets hidden behind trees.
@csmedisc
3.7/5 Not as bad as everyone is saying. Poles are ready for signs at each tee. That will be nice and helpful. Tees are awesome. I can see how there would be some issues with safety etc - but that would only be when the course is very busy. Not a bad course at all.
@bigheaddoug
Very nice course, good design with many options for shot shaping, lots of fun and best of all lots of lefty options. Once they get the signage installed it will be great!!
@ryansgd
New and okotoks needs it
@rteixeira
Played it for first time today, a bit confused of the start. Hole 10 needs work, potential strike of players or people, coming north. The basket is hidden and lines to basket not really fair. Clear some of the bushes and possible lay areas and it will be a challenging hole. Hole 7 clean up around the basket less than 5 feet clear around basket. Overall great to have a working course in town until original is back in play. Hole 17 is awesome 👍 keep up the good work.
@iveman
Most holes die off to the right, if you don't have a decent forehand the course is tough.
@justdianagreen
Brand new course, still waiting for proper signage. There are arrows on the baskets, but the layout isn't ideal. Many crossing fairways and shared tee pads. We were lucky to play when only a few teams were on the course, but it would almost be unplayable during busy hours. Consider bringing bug repellent.
@spinster
Excellent design and good variety of fun shots! Don’t listen to complaints about hole overlap or brush, neither is as serious an issue as other reviews make it sound, it is very well groomed. What brush is on the course is what makes it fun as you shape shots to avoid obstacles. The concrete tees are excellent. Signage and wayfinding is the only downside as it is difficult to navigate and there are no signs at the tee-pads despite there being posts for them. Great course overall!
@rachacho
Great park area, well maintained. A lot of holes cross over each other though and there are no signs up yet.
@ethansawatzky
Great to have another okotoks course! Shots overlap a few tees, moskitos are very bad, bring beer!
@understable1
Interesting layout, but just too much going on. There are people using the park in areas where players are throwing. Number 18 will be unplayable if there is a ceremony going on. Picnic areas are directly adjacent to throwing lines. It just feels dangerous.
@rynoza
Right hand forehand heavy course. Almost every hole finishes to the right. Like most new courses it needs trimming. Almost unplayable if the park is busy with non-disc golfers.
@micmaster
Shot Shape Variation was great, concrete tees were good too. If the park is vacant then this is a great course for beginners and intermediate players to learn simple shot shaping. If it’s busy… Hit or Be hit, don’t bring children and I’d advise against bringing newer players. Keep your head on a swivel! Few holes need some trimming to create proper lines, but most of them are solid short, putter or midrange shots.
