@alkirkwoo
Didn't want to believe the reviews but sadly they are accurate. Tall grass wasn't so bad but literal 8 foot fairways makes this course unenjoyable.
@tanto18
Long nine hole pores with moderate difficulty, homemade baskets, and very uneven grass tee areas. I wouldn't recommend for beginners. Plenty of elevation.
@leoster
Hole 2 has about a 3 foot gap to hit or you’re in the creek bed.. needs trimmed . Field was recently cut which helps a lot. Good course though
@danielszucs
Interesting baskets, way to high. Why isnt this an 18 hole course????!!!!
@bricenu
Awesome course, very easy to lose discs
@madmayo
Would give 4 if fairway was wider and there were tee pads
@harrry
Decent course layout. Super unfriendly to solo players though (I walked away with 2 less discs). Fairway is only about 8 ft wide throughout the whole course, the rest is either really tall grass or dense woods.
@danimalg
It has been a while, so I may not be up to date. However, when I was there, I found it to be above par for the enjoyment. I am one that does enjoy the courses that are more rugged and with elevation change though. As I read other feedback, narrow fairways in summer can be a negative. When I was there, there was rough but not all that bad from what I recall. Baskets not the greatest of designs, but usable. Dirt tees, but fine when dry. Hole #2 is different and not for the faint of heart, even with it being shorter. Overall, definitely worth trying out, but probably best in the non-active foilage part of year.
@kevcam
Great course but the “hay” is thick. I lost 2 discs in the hay.
@boxcar
It's long at times, and very hilly. Feels like you go up more hills than down somehow. Would like to see alternate tees or baskets for a few holes, especially 9. It's a campground in the middle of nowhere. If "fairways" were two lawnmowers wide, it would make a world of difference in the summer. Downgrading this to a 3 after they let 2 grow in so much. This was easily the signature hole on the course a few years ago. Used to be able to throw over the trees, but that window is small and now you must go higher which most park goers will not be able to do (I can't anymore and I could before).
@folsomsfacts
No teepads, baskets don’t catch discs very well, holes are set up very close to each other
@dillyforreally
Course doesn’t really have a fairway and no distinct tees, but is well maintained and has nice goals. Mostly open but has a fun technical shot on hole 2.
@tratrevor
No tee pads. If it has been recently mowed it is okay but I would play with a friend and have the spot you. If you are alone, just play safe putter shots only and lay up.
@jesiekohl
Zero to no upkeep. Small Strip of grass mowed. Unimaginative layout. SKIP THIS ONE. Literally the first course I have played two holes and just left. Managed not to lose any discs but this course is awful.
@cctrailside
Course design was fine baskets were fine could be better but the biggest problem was the fairways that were 8 feet wide landing strips and that's all you got. Rest of the fairway was tall grass and if you went off the 8 foot fairway you had to search for the disc. I'd say fix the fairway size (make it more like 30 or 40 feet wide instead) and it would be alot better of a course
@mmfc07
Down a hill...up a hill...no tee pads
@sirbenjamin
This could be a great nine hole. Good layout and some fun holes. Unfortunately they only mow 12 foot fairways with Nebraska long grass everywhere else. Glow golf would be good because it gets dark. If you want a daytime round have spotters and be able to park everything. Has potential just not enough people to keep it up. Has good phone service though. 4 bars.
@prairiegolfer
Lots of elevation changes and length but the fairways have lots of tall grass and there are to tee pads to speak of but the views make up for a lot of that. It also has custom CNC baskets but I noticed they catch as well if not better than official PDGA approved baskets. Go with a spotter. Also you’ll need a state park pass, plan to camp for a day if you go and maybe hit some of the other near by courses. I would love to see tee pads poured or roll out ones with ground stakes.
