Pros: great signs and basket position indicators at each tee, nice baskets, flags on most baskets, next tee sign indicators on baskets as well as next tee signs in key locations. Nice use of elevation and natural topography. You will probably have the course to yourself. Cons: the tee boxes are okay, but could be vastly improved. The flow is okay, but there are a few areas where you are crisscrossing other fairways and a few fairways that are really close to baskets from other holes, despite a ton of available land to use. Paths and safe ways to traverse steep downhills on loose dirt are lacking. Exposed and hot in the summer and prone to wind, but that’s what you get fur a high desert course. Overall, it’s enjoyable. If I lived here, I’d play it regularly, but it’s just as far away from my house as Lake Tahoe/Truckee courses so I will probably continue to just play this once or twice a year to add variety. This course needs a club to show it some love.

Not maintained course and easy to lose your disc in the brush. Tees are old rubber mats that have seen better days and way too short. Several tee maps were damaged beyond recognition, either spray painted, burned, or shot :(. Shots are short and on the technical side, best for intermediate players

Lots of elevation. Underrated in my book. Good practice for Zepher. Little raw on the trails and meets stiff competition with nearby courses. I play 22 holes often because of the convince of the exit. Makes no sense to finish at 18. The 9 hole option is good for time constraints or high wind. The dog park parking is good to start and finish. It's is not a powderpuff course if you have some grit it's a gem.

Overall, this course is trash. The tee boxes are downright hazardous with uneven, torn and ragged pads. Signage is good. Fairways are unimproved. It has potential but needs someone to care about its upkeep and improvements.

Desert course with lots of elevation to challenge you. Tee pads are short mats. Baskets have poles and flags. The new 18 hole layout loop hits the best holes and ends with the top of the world shot. Check Udisc for the hole order.

A repetitive and boring course, tees kinda suck, lots of blind holes where the only challenge is finding your disc

Tee pads need some work. Some have dirt covering them.

This course has a lot of potential. Lots of great lines and mix of long and short shots. Very overgrown and low upkeep keeps rating at 3 stars. Would be great to get a clean up day out here and maybe in the future have a capital city tournament between Caraon range course and Indian hills for a two round tourney.

Lots of potential here , fun layout . Worth playing if you’re in the area . I only played 18 holes and would recommend playing 27 because the 18 hole layout made no sense . Overall fun course

Like other reviews say, this course has POTENTIAL. Seems maintained by the City. When and if maintained by a club, it would easily be 2 extra stars.

Potential here for a very challenging course, wicked terrain changes. Needs the following-get hole numbers back on the baskets to help navigation on fix the broken flags so you can see from the Tee. Some holes had orange markers with “next” arrows which was extremely helpful, get them on the rest of the holes. Often hokes/tees did not appear on udisc so had to wander around to find next tee. Course has serious vegetation-easy to lose discs. Use spotters. Course is neglected but could be awesome

Teepads are a little rough and need to be replaced. The ground cover is thick in spots making it hard some times to find your disc or even finding the basket is tough because they blend in with the bushes. Most of the location flags have snapped off the top of the basket and are halfhazardly placed inside the basket. It's a good hike and the course has potential to be amazing.

This course is unforgiving. Lots of elevation and no shade. Take extra water. Baskets are hard to see but they are in the position that the washer on the tee-signs indicate. The pads are rubber and the layout is full of ace runs, but it’s a brutal trek making stamina a factor. Awesome course!!

Some cool elevation changes but the combination of almost every hole being a blind shot and the amount of brush, I spent most of my time throwing to the wrong pins. Would also recommend having the first person be a spotter for discs. Signage was incorrect for the UDisc layouts most of the way.

I think I spent more time looking for my discs then playing. Very overgrown tall sage brush. A bunch of holes you can’t see the basket even when you walk up 50% of the way and hole 27 ends in the middle of the course

Holes are really fun. Lots if blind tee shots though, and even when they're not blind, there's several baskets in view and it's hard to know which to go for. Once you start, you never come back to the car park until the very end, so pack food and drink. Lots of elevation changes, so wear good shoes or boots. Otherwise fun. Oh, and bring your bright colored discs! 21s bakery is currently down. But of for damage. But still very fun
