This place is HORRIBLE. TRASH. Horrible maintenance everywhere. I would not waste your time.
@jasoncreed
It’s an ok course. All tees are concrete, but many are too short. Several of the faded red tee post markers are lying on the ground or propped up against a tree. Not many birdies to be found if you can’t throw 400’ on a dime. No map / poor markings for the short layout, so longs is really the only thing to play. Would be more amateur-division-friendly if there was a layout with the same tees but more Par 4’s. It definitely needs more Par 4’s to be interesting, even if those tees were extended back another 50’-100’ to make for more 500’ holes.
@guywhohucks
Little to no signage. No benches for sitting near tees. Really fun shot designs and holes! Awesome scenery, very peaceful. Some long par 3’s! Worth the trip out!
@forresth
Tea boxes are much too small for a basic run-up. A little cleanup on the logs would improve as well. Needs more variety of shot shapes.
@discrabbit
Call me crazy, but this piece of land has the most promise of any of the Ruidoso area courses. With some limbing and design tweaks this would be the best course in the state.
@brianphillips
This course has alot going for it. Flow is perfect. Landscape is beautiful elevations trees and water all great.. Problems are, no tee signs no navigation, also course needs tlc, some simple trimming and som3 mowing og the grass and also removing the trees and brush that were cut instead of just leaving them laying in the ground. This would all improve the course and raise it's rating drastically
@jaws18
Beautiful course, with a variety of shots. Tee pads are concrete, but a little on the short side for run ups.
@billieve
Area that the casino couldn't use for anything because it's their trash depository for construction.
@jackcarter27
Enjoy the senercy and the hike. Y’all grass and saw a few horses on our round! We will be back to play!
@hoveycat
Maybe grooming of Circle 1 or 2. The new pads are a bit short except for 11. Not sure why folks don’t enjoy the raw nature of a mountain course. It’s not links hucking. Really amazing!
@drlimelight
This course would be so much more fun to play if they were accurately parred out, and if there were not so many forests of thistles all over the entire course. Ridiculous what they expect par of you on some of these. Zero upkeep.
@littlemike87
Save yourself some time just play grindstone
@jonduran55
Super fun layout but needs upkeep. Could be one of the best
@nathan79
Difficult to find tees and holes. Definitely need UDisc. Upkeep around some holes could be better
@brandonreyes
Fun course with lots of challenging par threes. Nobody else but me was out there the whole time. And they now have concrete tee boxes!
@seantonyt58
What a fun layout!
@jupiterhikes
This is a fun course, but the teepads are dirt, the hole signs are rudimentary, and generally it seems as though few care to play here as nothing is polished and most things are overgrown. Which is interesting given it's only a few minutes from the much nicer courses. So much potential here but as of now this is like a step above a tree/object course. Still fun though
@xcervantes
"The bone yard" aka] great place for a challenge.
