Once the tee boxes are permanent and the signage is complete, this course will rank among the best. It’s a good hike too. During the heat of the day, the mosquitos weren’t bad.

Fun layout, but I was confused on some lines. It seems set up to go the grip it and rip it into a clump of trees with a hope and prayer. Looking forward to them adding more pads and signage. Can’t wait to see how it develops over time!

A more technical course. Tough for beginners who can't through straight or into the wind .

Hard to locate parking for hole 1. But otherwise tons of fun!

One of the best 9 hole courses in Alberta. With more, consistent maintenance - this is easily a 4.5/5. Great mix of holes, right amount of challenge. Really good tee pads and signs.

Wow. This is my new favorite nine hole course. Will for sure be driving up from Calgary again. Absolute hidden gem. I would compare it to a toned down and much shorter Canmore Nordic center.

Grrrrreat little 9 hole!!! Worth an hour or so drive if upkeep of the course isn't an issue with you. The grass hasn't been cut for a few weeks or more. But the shot shaping variety is fantastic! They layed out this part of the park very well. The reds are technical but doable and the longs are almost on the epic side with some gawdamn tough shots. A must play for the avid hucker!

Could use some leaning up, but has serious potential.

Several holes leave you wondering what shot the designer had in mind. Handful of holes feel unplayable with whacky shapes

Some holes were excellent, others were poorly laid out. 2, 3, and 7 are unnecessarily tight when there are plenty of other potential woods fairway options.

On their own, the holes are nicely done. What was surprising is how often you’re throwing over another fairway, walking back up a fairway, or just generally putting yourself in a non-safe position if the course were busy. Maybe not an issue in this town, but if it was in a bigger city, I think people would be getting hit regularly. Great space, The layout is suspect

Should be at least a 4 star but the lack of proper upkeep just really doesn’t deserve the 4 stars. Some holes, I’m thinking especially of 7 barely even have a fairway it’s so overgrown. The fairway is (too) narrow and the rough isn’t maintained at all, it’s simply left to run absolutely wild. It’s as if those who maintain the course don’t realize that the rough needs/should be maintained as well, albeit differently then a fairway, either way off the fairway or rough doesn’t mean jungle, but it really seem to be here. Worst part is it really wouldn’t take that much to keep the rough manageable, it would also lead to significantly less lost disc in the tall tangled mess of bushes and whatever else they let grow rampant on the sides of the fairway. I don’t care who you are but throwing into the rough shouldn’t mean a lost disc, it shouldn’t even mean having to look for 10+ minutes, it should just mean a slightly tougher shot. This course could seriously or improve based purely on more regularly upkeep of the fairway and making the rough more manageable instead of a disc dark hole.

Google Maps sent me to entirely the wrong place, but I got there! Park at Centennial Park and head up the path (right), pass the bench on the left after the last gazebo and take the stoned path on the right, tee 1 is to the left in the trees (wasn't super easy to find for a poor navigator like myself!). Great course with a fun variety of shots. Some dense undergrowth to contend with if you go off the side, so be careful! Wouldn't be a great course for a beginner, but is very fun for those with a bit more experience. I'm not particularly good, but it really pushed me to think about my shots and I liked that. Hole maps at tees are very accurate and easy to read. I would have struggled to find some of the next tees without Udisc though. Footing can be rough when it opens up after the wooded areas. Definitely preferred this course to Sylvan Lake. Overall, if I was heading up North again I would absolutely take a detour out of my trip to go and play this course. Challenging in the right way. Definitely worth a day trip for those who live closer (like Calgary).

Awesome course. Holes 2, 3, 6, and 8 really stood out as unique designs that are hard to find all at one course!
