"In order to be a 5/5 I feel a course must have: Good T pads & baskets, appropriate & accurate signage, clear fairways, challenging (trees, mandos, OB, elevated baskets, tight fairways, hills, water, rocks, long pro level holes), & unique (multiple Tpads or baskets, pyramid, hanging baskets, memorable hole). This course lacked: Hills & unique "

"Super fun course, 4-5 different pin locations on most holes, water incorporated on many different holes. Course is in good shape as well"

"Nice, well maintained park. Course is nothing special. Flat, mostly open lines, but the trees are used well to force a couple lines. Too many elevated baskets. A couple are fine, but 4 or 5 of the Front 9 were elevated when I played. A couple are fine, but this felt gimmicky."

" Nice course in a city park! Decent trees and a creek throughout. Was a bit tough to navigate for an out of town guest even with UDisc-found myself throwing at the wrong basket a few times. Good signs but with nearly four pin locations on each hole, I was still a bit lost sometimes. Overall, really enjoyed it and glad I played!"

"Course is well kept. Unfortunately it has a creek/river that runs all the way around it. The designer though it would be a good idea to use it at the back of 8 of 18 holes. Thats 8 holes you cannot run unless wanting to get wet. "

"A mostly flat course with a good mix of short and long holes, Spearfish Creek forms a natural water hazard on most of the back nine, and the latter part of the front nine, needing a bit of finesse for certain basket placements near the water, with at least one basket placement right next to the creek, requiring a layup, or pinpoint accuracy from a distance. Lots of trees and shrubbery, and a few micro hills, with a few dense thickets, make this a very challenging course. *Putt & Drive Practice"
