"First time playing this course. Very nice course, definitely more challenging that expected. Would suggest bringing LOADS of bug spray and long socks. Course maintenance was decent and would definitely play again (in the fall when there are no bugs)"

"This course is not for the faint of heart. It is a physically demanding course so be ready for a workout. The course is beautiful and scenic. The holes are long for the most part and with the severe elevation changes on some, distance is very deceiving so if you’ve got a good range finder, this is the course to bring it to. Having the brewery right there is definitely a perk for the warmer months when you finish a round! "

"Very cool course layout with some awesome mountain views. Some walking distance between some holes, but the shots are fun. Grass is tall, even on most fairways, and the rough is definitely rough. Hole 13 didn’t seem to have a basket out when we played, so we accidentally played 15’s basket instead. Only huge con: the gnats were INSANE. One got stuck in my eye, and they never stopped buzzing around my dad and I. Bugs were everywhere. Come in fall or winter, or douse yourself in bug spray."

"Elevation changes, multiple basket positions, a few excellent holes. Most of the course plays through open fields, but the designers incorporated woods. Fields unfortunately lacking regular maintenance, making for rugged playing conditions. Even with a spotter, you may lose discs. Visit around tournament time or during the winter when the grass is knocked down. Beautiful views of the Shenandoah Mountains. Beer at the onsite brewery is good. "

"Ruined a perfectly good course by creating this "natural ob" by not mowing the majority of the fields. 85% of the property is disc abyss. Extra thick and tall grass that you'll never find your disc in. It only took one bad throw for me too lose my favorite driver. Please go back to mowing everything and paint the ob lines!! This is just cruel. Everyone I ran into that was playing a practice round had lost at least one disc as well. Three tournament this weekend is going to be painfully slow"

"So much potential. Holes are fun. Good variety. Tee pads and signage are excellent. However, the rough and bugs would keep me from playing here again. I agree with penalizing players for bad shots, but there is way too much thick weeds and tall grass that eat discs and are miserable to wade through. Bugs, gnats and flies will follow you around and buzz your ears starting at hole 1 and just get worse (even with spray). Beautiful scenery, but miserable to play."

"Beautiful property. Super nice owners. Lost four discs. High grass off the fairway, thick sticker bushes near baskets make it hard to find discs. The fairways are pretty wide so if your accurate you shouldn’t have too much problem staying out of the high grass. It’s hard to avoid the extremely dense bushes be açaís everywhere they are close to the baskets. If we didn’t lose 4 discs I would give this course a 4 maybe a 4.5"

"Worst round I’ve ever played, best time I’ve ever had. Great course, super challenging. Amazing clubhouse and brewery located at hole 1/10 providing a nice place to relax before hitting the back 9. Signage was perfect with color coded flags corresponding with each basket. Only complaint was the thorns which wouldn’t have been a problem if I’d have thrown better. Awesome place to spend the day. "

"I really enjoyed this course. It’s on private land but is open to the public. Each hole has a turf tee pad and signage. The only tips I have are to have bug spray on hand for gnats and be prepared to walk a little elevation. I feel like the designer did a good job on the layout. The course flows pretty well from one hole to the next and there are a nice mixture of shots throughout. Enjoy!"

"Loved this course. Never got lost. Could see 3/4 of baskets and walked up on rest. Beautiful scenery. Great signage. Nice tee pads. Dog friendly. 20 flights of stairs climbed. Only real rough ones were back up to 10 and 17. Free to play. BEAUTIFUL! Wish we lived close by. Better than Maple Hill and Beaver! Did not lose any discs, the rough is thick but easy to miss most the time. Able to get my disc out of pond with retriever. A MUST play. Owners are awesome. "

"Absolutely beautiful course, NOT for the faint of heart. Spent more time looking for discs than playing (spotter recommended). 90% of the holes, anything but a perfect shot & you’re hunting in chest high grass or woods. Fairways are extremely narrow on most holes, & several of the basket placements are insane. I strongly recommend boots, long pants, & lots of bug spray. With all that being said, owner is super friendly, and having a cold beer after a challenging round is a major bonus."

"HUGE course. A good long haul if you play 18 thru. It’s nice that 9 ends back where you start if you want to rest. Lots of blind tees and elevation change, which makes it really challenging. No ground play bc of tall grass. Great tee pads and signage, plus you can grab a brew. "

"This is an unbelievably beautiful course with a great Mountain View. I love how both 9 hole loops play back to the winery. The elevation change and use of the trees make this a challenging and enjoyable course. It will eventually be a great showcase course for elite disc golfers."
