Great beginner friendly course

Not a very fun course. The front 9 is okay and the back is 10-15ft wide fairways with tall grass in both sides. Anything outside c1 is tallgrass

With Stuart sports complex closed for maintenance, it’s a little confusing on the course map to figure out where to park/walk for back 9.

#8 barely 12’ fairway, very challenging. The rest of front 9 fairly easy for this 78 year old.

Front 9 way better than back 9. Back 9 is meadows and tall grass. Gots watch closely where your discs fall.

Clean park style course. The front 9 is pretty solid, but the back nine is just tight mowed fairways in on open field of tall grass and plants.

Holes are fun enough but the layout isn’t great. 1-9 and 10-18 might as well be separate courses

Solid park play for the front nine. The back still has one set of tees facing another and you have to walk through the fairway of 10 to get to 12

Too many extremely short holes and the flow is pretty bad after hole 9 when you have to walk 4 football fields to hole 10 and then from 18 walk even further to get back to the parking lot. Property has tons of potential with a better layout and use of land but overall a really fun putter/mid course for beginners

Decent course. Could use some better signage. Has some fun shot shapes but a lot of tall grass.

I like the expansion of the back 9. A bit tight in spots if it were busy. Front nine has the creek hazards if you have an errant throw. Pro/Am pads are great. Back nine will have long grass/growth in summer. Don't throw badly during the high growth times since it isn't mowed.

Short and long tee pads offer slight variations. Front 9 is much better with the back being mostly prairie grass fields with some small trees.

Worst redesign ever. It would be a challenge to make it worse.

Please make a smart layout for “Efficient 18-hole” (Front 9 Short + Front 9 Long). That walk from 9-10 is just brutal. Bring back old 10 over creek shot and old hole 17.

Back 9 redesign ruined the charm of this course. If I wanted flat and boring, this just made the top of that list. I hope the park district reads our collective disappointment.

Why? 3 stars for the front nine, -1 star for the “new” back nine. Sad and terrible
