READ THIS !!! This course is very, very over rated. No one in the reviews are saying that the fairways are all rocks, from 1" pepples to 5" stones. There is no run up on the fairways due to the rocks, all stand still. The rocks will also beat to crap out of your disc. I understand that you only have so much to work with, and that's fine. But don't mis-represent the course and cause people to waste their time on a trip. This course is a 3* at best, but given the condition of the fairways, it's probably lower. Just know what you're getting into, before you go...

@sherpamike
Fun hill country style course, not to rocky. Generous tee pads, fun lines, and helpful signage.

@texastacolover
Lengthy, technical, multiple approach angles for each hole. About 5km start to finish, with plenty of shade to keep you covered for most of the course. Elevation change and lots of things with thorns, so be careful where you’re walking. Overall a fun course!

@sirhemp
Very Rocky, but very fun.

@midiscslayer
Super fun course that will test you

@cntbg23
John Houck does it again. Tough to play after rain. I got my butt whooped. 😂

@nathanalleman
Some good shot variety is the best thing about it. The endless rocks and scrub are the worst. I'm not saying it's lacking in design, but the longs are not fun to play. So punishing. So rocky. Miserable long uphill holes that are all rocks and scrub. But there are also some nice big trees and more open holes, so variety saves it from a worse score. Some of the pads are not great and no bathrooms. I hear the red tees (shorts) are more playable, so do that.

@cmydivot
Great course that forces different shots. Have to scramble and get creative

@kenallard
Lots of rocks. Good upkeep, fair signage.

@brianphillips
Missing all tee signs for the shorts. Navigation could be better for hole 10 for example.. nice course over all just all the loose stones/Rocks well trip you and kill your skips

@krisgreen
Try not to break your ankles as you navigate every part of this course. Small rocks every where. Be prepared to go through thick foliage on each side of the fairway with the same shot throughout the course.

@drlerb
Very nice fun course. Could use a basket update but otherwise very nice!

@djgdmg2002
Great course. Rough rough. Lots of rocks. But great design. And a lot of fun.

@elscotto
My favorite SATX course. The shorts are just right for MA2/MA3 throwers. Don’t get a ticket on Shin Oak - they’re serious about that 20 mph.
