@xanerwin
Good use of the property with a mix of technical wooded holes and wide open bomber holes. Some of the tree gaps are extremely tight, but it provides a fun challenge. Nice work on the creek crossings.
@adumbbro
Great course. Everything was mode, and most difficulty I had finding a tee or basket was self-inflicted. Getting off some of the fairways is punishing. Those thorns on the honey locust trees will mess you up worse than an extra stroke.
@rfitetx
Drove an hour and a half and was disappointed. Probably worth checking out once if you live within 30min of the course. If not, don't bother
@ashermueller9
Excellent armory redesign. This will be a good championship level course
@twistedcedars
Too much distance between numerous hole. Put in more holes to fill in there’s not any rule says only needs be 18 holes. Too much OB the ruff is thick enough your punished with stroke anyway no need add OB.
@txchainhunter
Good mix of open and wooded holes, OBs in place are fair and make sense. Course is mostly flat, water in play on a few holes(creeks were dry when I went and pond had water but looked low) and lots of thorny brush. Gotta have a variety of throws to score well here. I think in time as this course gets played more and groomed over time, it will be even better.
@spencerluton
Great course! Few finishing touches will make it the best in the Brazos.
@dusford
Love the new redesign! Par 62 in the short pins and a par 64 for the tournament layout. Nice, big and grippy concrete pads for the blue layout. Rough can be rough in certain places but, that's to be expected with a new course. Every single shot shape is necessary to score well on the course. The City is out there mowing almost every single day, it's a big park so it's lots of mowing. Signage is up and very accurate.
@cougar
Really beautiful course with mix of backhand and forehand shots. Really well designed and some really beautiful woods holes. Definitely worth the trip to give it a play! Has concrete tee pads now, and is well kept!
@acanithink
Phenomenal course. Whoever designed this is passionate about disc golf and took their time planning everything out. Yes, there are some weird/long transitions between a few holes, but they are worth it/required to make this course what it is. Thanks.
@ashtonn1
Too much overlap of fairways, tees and baskets on the front 9, but the back 9 plays really well.
@coleyko
Course offers a great variety of shot shapes. Nice mix of open and wooded holes
@reesepetersen
amazing
@gleffert
New baskets installed. This course is on its way to being great. You can tell whoever is designing it, is putting in some time and effort to make it fantastic. A bit rough getting from tee to tee on the short layout but it looks like paths are beginning to get worn in. When signage gets installed and directional guides it will help. First six holes were fine, the back 12 were very interesting. Can't wait to come back in a few months and try it again from the long tees.
@ethanvacula
A lot of walking between holes. Upkeep is terrible lost a disc that was center fairway. Had a putt where an old basket was completely in the way. Course is not ready for anyone yet. No signage ether.
@flossingaces
There's a new, 18 hole course here that is a huge improvement to the 9 hole layout! This is definitely worth the time to travel to Caldwell and play!
