@lymbic
Only need your distance drivers and a putter. Wide open, long, and no real shade on the course. Make sure you look at the course map and know what you’re getting into ahead of time. Distance from green to the next tee is always a hike - could have put another course in between honestly - not that it would have been any better. Poor use of a great landscape.
@culturedpunk
If there were more trees on the fairways to create a challenge for people with big arms this would be the best course in Alabama if not one of the best courses I have ever played. It has to much open space for big bombs and super forgiving rough ares that it’s more like a walk in the park enjoying amazing scenery than playing disc golf. Still fun just needs more challenge on the first 6 holes 7 is still wide open but the water makes you play a little more serious. Loved it will play it more!!!
@benrohl
Very long. Nice scenery and fairways. Will be great when new trees mature.
@brandosolo
If you have a big arm, this course is for you. Lots of open fairways with OB being XC running lanes painted on the ground.
@tfuhrmann
Very long, but if you play the OB, they are not all straight shots. Very difficult with the length, trees, and OB. I think it is a great course though.
@jhawk7586
Super fun course LOTS of OB. Holes are long but open
@dphill
3.2. It’s Long and hot but beautiful.. There is no double loop so there is in turn no way back to the car. No seats. But a cool course.
@kayakpirate
I swear to God this is the longest yardage disc golf course that I've ever been on in my life. It took me about 4 hours to do 18 holes on the short pads not much variety just a bunch of grip and rip it
@klee8046
Long course. For the casual player, worth one play through.
@jfortney
Several holes have little to no obstructions that we like to make us think. You'll only need 4 discs here - your longest driver, an overstable fairway, a neutral midrange (maybe), and your putter. The property has tons of potential. I'd love to see a re-design that uses more than just pure distance as obstacles.
@grassfirewater
Couldn't find a practice basket. Pretty boring holes for the most part. Some creativity with OB paths, water, and trees, but it seems like they could have done so much more.
@vcrouchjr
It is a course for really long arms. Basically can play the course with three discs: your best distance driver, your best landing mid, and a putter. Having to play the cross-country grass track as hazards really stinks. Forced to throw very wayward shots to get around them. Keeping the paved sidewalks as a hazard is fine but the cross-country paths as hazards have to go. I'm not sure how often I will play here. Took 3 hours and 15 minutes for a foursome.
@joshlenox
Bomber course on an old ball golf course. Little shot variety. Little to no shade. A good bit of artificial OB. Great tee signs, but no directions to the next pad. Listed pars on UDisc seem off. Lower level players may want to skip 18 or ignore OB, otherwise you will lose a disc in the water.
@skyandice
I love the fact that, even though it is a ball golf style course, it still has disc shaped fairways that allow for flex lines around trees and such.
@hudsonhaupt
Long as piss. Even the shorts are long lol
@michaelcrouch88
Overall course has some potential. But 16 and 18 are just silly layouts
@tomniemann
Great Baseline for a world class course! So refreshing to play a course with different pars. Terrific scenery and location. Grew up in this golf course. City maintenance is great
@timkeeter
Would love to see the course redesigned to take better advantage of the land features and eliminate the open field shots.
