The shot designs were super awesome. Well maintained and great views. Good mix of a few wooded and a few open holes. Tee pads and signs could use an update.
@dnbgolf
Pathing to some of the tees was janky/unintuitive, and some lines on the longer baskets were nonexistent. Bring waterproof shoes and bug spray, as there's a lot of standing water.

What a Gem this is!!!
@secamp
Well maintained but poorly designed and managed. A course doesn't need to be 18 holes to be enjoyable. Too much back and forth from one to the next is not fun or safe. Park rangers ran off a guy fishing discs out of the pond on 16. I asked the ranger if they ever fished them out, he said no. Like the other guy said, "prepare to lose loved ones". Fishing out lost discs would be kind and a good community service.

Good smells

This is a perfect Fairweather course. Might be difficult navigating in wet weather.
@verliererkolben
I really like this course! Some technical woods and some pretty tough water hazards. I will definitely play again in the future and try to beat my first score!
@jugglingfool
Loved the wooded holes. Many of the field shots were uninspired but sometimes necessary. Beautiful park worth a trip but other courses nearby are better options if time is limited.

Google Johnson Road Park for directions. The directions link led me to the end of a neighborhood. Beautiful course. Lots of leaves so reach for those pinks and greens. Lots of pedestrian traffic. A solid intermediate course that tests upshots, long distance accuracy, and smart decision making.
@zaccattack
Absolutely beautiful. Also causes heart attacks every time you throw.
@colbyjackd
One of the most balanced and fun courses I’ve ever played. Had to dock half a star for a few holes on the back 9 that throw at blind walking paths. Woods shots are tight but fair with a few “must gets” and a few where you have to be laser precise. Open shots typically have an elevation or water component.
@bhfriedman
My happy place. Always fun. Always challenging. Doesn’t beat you up but punishes mental mistakes.
@rockettsd
Wooded areas still have a bunch of downed trees from storms earlier this year.
@wrwtennis11
Absolutely amazing course layout and extremely generous with the current par distinctions.
