About the course

As one of the original courses in the Lehigh Valley Jordan Creek has evolved over time to grow with the sport and as a result it has become one of the must play courses for visitors and a local favorite. At one point in time Jordan Creek was among the Top 50 courses in the USA in uDisc and DGCR and has been featured in the 2005 PDGA Professional World Championships as well as the Deaf Disc Golf World Championships. The course winds through the beautiful mostly wooded park following the Jordan Creek. Featuring up to potentially 6 total Par 4’s (depending upon pins and layouts in play) and 1 Par 5 this course bridges the gap between an intermediate to hard level course that is great at challenging multiple aspects of your disc golf game. The course features up to 3 water carries with on hole 7’s tee shot and the iconic Hole 18 featuring two throws across the Jordan Creek. Hole 15 features the courses Par 5 and offers up to 3 possible pin positions to play to with 2 baskets generally in the ground. The course flow challenges you to get your birdies early on the front 9 with a series of short- medium length par 3’s and shorter 4’s. The back 9 features some longer, more complex holes with varying terrain and elevation that will demand many different shots from your arsenal to score well. The course features concrete tee pads and DiscGolfPark baskets with benches on most holes. For those visiting the Short Par 58 (all Short Pins)or “OG” Par 60 (Mostly Short pins where available but playing the Par 5 on hole 15) Layout are highly recommended for ease of navigation and great balance of difficulty to fun. The Long layout features all that Jordan Creek has to offer and comes in at a venerable Par 61 that is recommended for those looking for a great way to challenge their game!

Sleeper course!!! A must-visit. Super fun flex and flip-up lines with pretty, grassy fairways. The elevation change is sweet too!

Although time and development has given us lots of newer and more exciting courses, Jordan remains a gem with ongoing tweaks and updates. Typical for older courses, the layout favors RHBH. Today’s equipment and training allows intermediate players to play for par. It’s not the beast it once was, but it’s still a great place to play. Detailed review at Discgolfcoursereview.com
