Played it even tho it said closed, and it was still worth playing. Hole 16 was the only unplayable hole. Overall it was a pretty cool course. Very challenging but fun. The mosquitos tho holy s**t they’re thick. We had to reapply off at least 4x and still got eaten up.

Front 9 is over grown and all the tee pads are super lumpy. The back 9 was more fun and was more what I was expecting from a top 10 course in MN. If you're within an hour or two drive, it's worth the stop... but it's definitely not worth driving 4+ hours from the twin cities.

Featuring AstroTurf tee pads and Prodigy baskets, this course plays around a decommissioned iron mine that is now a lake. Multiple holes are iconic shots including hole three's shot down a step incline, hole fours water carry, and hole fourteen's tunnel shot. Rough can be punishing and accurate shots are rewarded. This has the bones of a five star course. Signage at the entrance is underwhelming and partially hidden. Some tee pads could be longer. Fairway grass was long. Directional signs guiding players to the next hole would be nice. Any community the size of Buhl should be proud of a course like this and the resources needed to maintain a course of this caliber can be challenging to muster. That said, this course is well worth playing and worth traveling to play. Bring water, mosquito repellent, and a spotter and enjoy the course and the excellent views.

BEAUTIFUL course. Some tough shots, especially with the hillside down to the lake on the right (although trees mostly protect this). Loved my time here - special course Oh! Look out for horse flies. And ignore Google maps - directions to the course parking lot were not correct at all. Enter from the north off of Old Minnesota 169 by the Buhl Skateboard Park.

There’s something to be said about the difference between signage and way-finding on a disc golf course. Great signs. But they could still improve the way-finding on choosing the correct direction & trail after each backet. UDisc is accurate.

Tee pads notwithstanding, this is an absolute gem of a course. The views are exquisite! Could use some "next tee" signage for those without the app. The tee pads are a good size, but could be improved with a different material at the front (concrete or textured pavers). The artificial turf is far too slick to confidently plant your foot when the ground is wet.

Cool course and nice views. Rough was punishing. Really thick. More mosquitos than I had previously seen on a disc golf course. I’d like to come back in the fall. Bet it would look great

Longest hole is just over 700ft. Average is about 300ft. Beautiful scenery and lots of horse flies. Open fairways and relaxing trees when there is wind. Highly recommend playing!

I'd give this course a 6th star if I could. This may be my new favorite course in the state. Highly recommend the short layout as well.

A must play course. Great course design around a lake with some awesome views. Turf teepads are a bit lumpy.

Beautiful scenery and amazing course. Lost half a star due to no benches or outhouses.

Beautiful course. Really tight fairways and a challenging par. Love 2-6 on the lake. Bring a disc retriever or a swim suit.

Wow! What a fun and challenging course! Water OB on the front and narrow gaps through the pines in the back. Loved playing this course!

Lot of love went into this course! Really nice tee boxes with AstroTurf on them, stairs and landscaping, even a tee shot over the water. Some of the fairways are narrow and require accuracy. All round great course.
