Beautiful course with a few water hazards. We only played the front nine which was decently maintained, and the amenities were very well up keep.

Beautiful park with potential. Current problems include: 4x4 "tee sign" posts placed inches behind center of tee pads on many holes. New layout seems to exist that is not reflected on course map navigation. There are 4 or 5 baskets missing. The low area around the creekside/back of park is playable but already has knee high grass/weeds. There are currently only 3 baskets in this area. Drove 2.5 hours to this course for the eclipse. Had fun. Wish it was in better shape.

I assume holes 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16 are protected wetlands as they're all natural, unkept, slightly hazardous.

This could be a great course with some work. Signage was poor. Tees on the lower part were hard to find and that area needs to be mowed and cleared of debris. Elevation changes are nice and distances are good. A couple of challenging shots.

Challenging course, especially the back 9 where it crosses the bottoms repeatedly. Some of the pins are tough to spot. Be prepared to scramble, and if it's rained lately, you will be on mud. Lots of climbing up and down on the back 9 as well.

Cannot relate to previous reviews about the mud. I played this course three times and it is very technical! Had a blast throwing off what felt like mountains when compared to other courses . So much fun.

Great beginner to intermediate course. Cleaned up nicely and play grounds taken out of play. Medium fairways & gaps, plenty of elevation changes, a few long bombs. Pond in play on 2, 3 & for beginners 6. Creek in play long on 7, 13, 15 & right on 8. Half star deduction for missing signage. Haven't been out after a rain to check the bottom for soupyness (it used to stay wet a long time). May be better after all the cleaning they put into it.

Has the potential to be a nice course. Lots of hazards, and not in a good way. Stays muddy. Unless you’re in the area, really not worth the drive.

This course is all around short but fun. There are water hazards on several holes depending on the time of year, but the layout is not boring like some other courses. The tee boxes are nice and long as well. Fun little course!

One of my favorites in southern IL. Good elevation change and pin placement. Well maintained park, bottom has been greatly improved. 👍🏻

Course is maintained, grass cut, missing some tee signs but there is spray painted trees with hole #’s and directions to next hole. Good 18 hole course, started mapping it on app but could finish, too dark

All but abadoned. Park didn't want to mow the bottoms they pulled them and now it's a non- sensical 9 hole.
