We saw the potential but needs work. Shots are too long and fairways too undefined. Walking trails are poorly maintained.

I think this will evolve into the best course at Kayak. Unrelenting, the one that will expose weaknesses that may be masked on the open courses.

Brutality. Use spotters. Some fun elevation. Excited to play it in 5 Years.

It seems silly to review a course when only 13 holes are complete, but I've thrown Blue 22 times so far, and even in this incomplete stage is a favorite. Kayak Point has Red and Gold if you're looking for long, open fairways. Blue is for masochists who crave the sound of plastic hitting wood. I didn't think I was that depraved, but... Best played with friends/spotters, but you can still throw it solo if you don't mind tramping around uphill and down, looking under ferns & bushes. Workers, paid and volunteer, have done a tremendous job clearing brush & branches, but there are still many big piles of those same branches, often difficult to walk across while searching off the fairway. Come to Blue to test yourself. Even at only 13 holes, so far, I score higher over par than I do on the pro-level Gold. Highly recommended to anyone who's tied of easy, open, level shots.
