@cchristner
Beautiful area, well kept and super nice folks. Having said that, at the end of the day it's a converted golf course which means every hole is pretty much grip it and rip it down the fairway, so not a lot of variety in the Red course. Didn't have time to play any others but can see a definite benefit is having multiple courses on property along with a driving range. But, to be perfectly honest, I was very disappointed because it ranks so well.
@brodycannon
This is a really great course! Scorable for high-level players and a fun but decent challenge for lower level players. Fun elevation shots everywhere!
@ghyphenreg
Fun, open, well-maintained, former ball golf style course. Nice elevation.. great experience. Putt course is fun too..
@kevinpdonahoe
Thoroughly enjoyed this course! Come up for the day and hit this one and gold! You will thank yourself later!
@smithjoshua
Great use of a former disc golf course. Lots of long par 4’s to test your distance drivers and your arm’s endurance.
@crimsontider44
Very majestic and for the most part, pretty open as it is built on a ball golf course. Walkable and want to come back and play more
@moribund
Great course. Should convert the Gold course to a playable course similar to Red.

Some details worth mentioning: Red #3 is divided by a marshy OB area, close to my limit as an old noodle-arm. An alternate crossing was a little wooden bridge to thrower's left, but it was overgrown with blackberries. They reopened that this year (2024), making the hole friendlier. Also, the entire Puget Sound region was hit hard by a windstorm recently, but the fairways at Disc Golf Resort are already cleared, as if the storm never happened (Thank you). And the outhouses! Both the Red and Gold courses have the typical plastic PortaPotties, but unlike many you might find in parks and courses, these are regularly maintained, clean, with the hand cleaner dispensers kept filled. Not something we normally write about, but when you need one, finding it clean is wonderful. One of my first acts after retiring was to buy an annual pass to DGR. It such a privilege to walk onto the property any day that it's open and play one course or another, depending on what's booked, and my mood. One hint about playing: start your round on Udisc while in the Pro Shop or parking lot. Cell reception on the courses is so sketchy that if you wait until the first tee, you might stand around waiting for your course to load.
@discrabbit
Perfect challenge for the intermediate/advanced player. Course designers did a great job crafting par 4s with these players in mind!
@dalthecow
Lovely treat, disc golf is life!!!
@derekchessik
Great course. Really forgiving pars. Good wide open bomber course.
@braddavis
Beautiful property and beautiful course! I played the red course which was mostly open shit bombs! I would have loved to see a few more wooded shots or tunnel shots—not a lot of technical golf here. However, if you’re looking for a place to try out some new drivers, empty your bag, or just bomb away this is the place.
@nomadnick
Fantastic course, one of the best in the pnw!
@wallysnowbird
Played the red course. Great experience. Nice signage, great layout, fun elevation changes, and mostly wide open. The rough can be rough, especially the blackberry bushes, so I'd recommend avoiding them if you can, and bring a disc retriever as you may not always be able to avoid them 🙂 Will definitely be back to play again.
@astrotexan
This is a well designed course with good basket placement. Offers a good challenge. The rough areas have tall weeds and make it difficult to find your disc unless you can see your disc land and can narrow down the search. If you are a strong thrower, consider getting a golf cart. If you throw less than 200 feet, the golf cart may not save that much walking. You have to stay on the cart path and you have to keep walking back to get the golf cart.
@gofarandfast
Mostly wide fairways. AstroTurf tees. Nice walk if you throw 150’-200’ each throw. Good signage in most places. Watch for blackberry bushes if you’re in the woods looking for your disc. Some elevation change but one fairway is super steep. Improved maintenance of blackberry and other foliage in multiple fairways was appreciated. Thank you!
@jeffmagaway19
Great course but I wouldn’t say it’s a beginner course. Wish it was kept up like a golf course though. Do not do this pushing a stroller with 3 kids and a dog.
@bogiebogusz
Beautiful disc golf on an old golf course. But beware of the blackberries. They will eat your disc and never spit it out
@sc0tty0ung
long grass makes it really tough.
