About the course

The course is mostly wooded with technical shots and tight fairways but there are a couple open field holes (350-400 ft) to let loose on as well. There is a nice mix of difficulties throughout the course, some seemingly made for birdies and others that make you work for par, creating a nice balance. The course overall is designed to make par a desirable and respectable score. The course was built by Rob LeMire and designed by Karl Molitoris, the designer of the popular Nichols Field course in East Haddam, CT.

Currently, both gates are locked, but you can park a couple of cars at your own risk. Hole 4 is still missing. Most holes currently have 2-3” of snow still on them, and tees aren’t completely clean

Probably my favorite in Southern CT. Some other courses have so many trees in the way that it feels like random luck/plinko (I’m looking at you Cedar Swamp). Here, there is a proper cleared line to use, even if it is challenging. I like the two boulder holes, but I do agree that one is probably enough. They do provide unique practice for elevated baskets. Overall, great spot that is both fair and challenging.
