About the course

New Baskets are in! Tee pad still to come, currently marked with flags. First tee is past the soccer field. Follow the access road and you should see the first tee/hole sign on your right. Each tee for the next hole is located pretty close to the basket of the previous one. Short walk between hole 7 and 8, there's a path cleared left of the basket un the small hill, then walk across the access road and into the small stand of trees. Old Holes 6 and 7 likely to remain for a while.

Contacted person in charge of parks in Pittsfield to do three things: 1. Replace baskets, with something modern and more durable. 2. Possibly open the fairways up with expanded mowing to hopefully triple the width of the existing fairways. 3. Possibly add more holes. Berkshire county has nothing except Windsor lake, and if they bite, it’s possible that there may be an opportunity to expand. It’ll cost money and some work, but if they bless it, it would be nice to have a good 18 in Pittsfield.

New baskets are nice and the new layout is an improvement. Fairways need to be mowed way wider and tee pads are still a disaster.
