Here is the situation, the course has had a few layouts over the years, there was a woods heavy layout and as I recall somewhat of a beginner type course… those pads were not torn out, still exist but are unplayable (not that it really matters). There was a revision sometime a few years ago, I hadn’t played it in that time, but, got back into the game. I played the Veterans basket layout several times a week… they had some alternating pins but signage was accurate and reasonably easy to navigate in UDisc for the most part. There is no governing person, or authority on this course. Just recently some baskets were moved around (completely displacing any use for signage) without any consultation from other players or even a professional designer. I have met/heard of no less than 6 people who would consider themselves the course “designer”. Basically the course got overgrown this past summer, there is an upcoming doubles tournament and the baskets were either moved completely (different than A/B) pins or put in the closer pin location all at once. My point being is that this course was decent how it was, and these new placements are not really adding to the skill to scoring aspect of course design, it kind of seems haphazard really. I appreciate the upkeep that has been done recently, but, I feel like there were some missed opportunities with getting the community involved and/or work day sign ups. I definitely had more scratches and thorns in me than I usually did after my round. I hope that this novella, provides some information that is needed to improve the course with the current teepads based mostly on proper brush and leaf clearing and less on basket moving.

It's a nice course with a mixture of holes. Does need some navigation betweens a few holes..
