About the course
Not recommended for individuals with limited mobility
All tees except 2 & 3 are close to the interior circular road or formed paths. Fairway 2 is uphill initially. Fairway 3 is downhill initially. Fairways are in great condition and generally flat but often cross or run along gullies, some of which are steep. Some gullies can be waterlogged depending on recent weather.

I was skeptical of a 4.6 rating and wow was my cynicism misplaced. This course is lovely. Set in a beautiful park among mature trees, holes meander through beautiful landscape. Yes, you have to watch where you step. Great variety of shot shapes but very achievable lines. I’ve played courses in US and Europe and would put this easily as a top 50 course. Longtime since I left a 5 star course review.

I nominate Knottingley Park for the best Tee-Pad signs in NZ! The Tee-pad signs were most informative with excellent Tee pads. Hats off to the course design team, well done. What a challenging & very enjoyable course!
