About the course

KOINONIA—The course is a labor of love provided to Moore, Ok and surrounding communities. The name Koinonia (/ˌkɔɪnoʊˈniːə/) is a transliterated form of the Greek word, κοινωνία, which means communion, joint participation; the share which one has in anything, participation, a gift jointly contributed, a collection, a contribution. This is mostly an open course with some trees as obstacles. Slight to experienced elevation from tee to basket. Mid to expert level par 4 and some easier par 3 holes. The course has 18 baskets and natural tee boxes. Over time the tee pads and tee signs will be installed.

Grass was tall but playable. Signs for tees but it was a little confusing and only dirt areas for tees. Long par 4s, so if you like a lot of distance holes, it definitely has that. I would play it again because it is close to our house, but there are better courses around the netro. UPDATE: this voures is much better and more playable in the Fall/Winter after mowing. It has some long shots, but when it's maintained, it's a decent course.

It was super windy from the north when I played which presents a real challenge on this course. I will definitely come here often in milder weather to practice though.
