Lake Claiborne State Park - Whitetail

"Beautiful course, but leaves a lot to be desired. 12 par 3’s in a row to start the course, all with fairly similar Hyzer shots. The last 6 holes were wonderful, and the property has beautiful campgrounds to camp at though."

Needs some creativity on the basket placement and use of the great terrain it has. Reminds me of some of the lower rated courses up in the North East."

"Hard to navigate in between holes in a few sections. UDisc has the hole 15 tee box all messed up and got lost trying to find it. There should be some additional signage between holes for better navigation. Very difficult/technical course that will test all levels from the long tees. Better disc down on hole 10 or you’ll find the drink! Overall it was a very beautiful course."

"Is this heaven? No, it's too humid, but it's close. Pretty close to my ideal woods course, lines to hit but enough air space to throw, and high ceilings from the towering old pines. Camping looks great by the lake, it's a destination facility, bravo."

"I was passing through for work and I really enjoyed the course, nice tee pads and hole layout markers, but it was difficult to figure out where the basket was on several holes because of the thick woods. I would have preferred playing with a partner to help locate baskets and hole layouts easier, but awesome course and would recommend to anyone passing through close to the area. "

"Beautiful and fun course, no tee pads but the throwing locations are mostly smooth. The pins don’t point to the next location; but the trees are marked to keep you on the path. Definitely can get into some unforgiving trees if you miss the fairway. Fun changes in elevation "

"$3 admission to the state park. All natural T pads. Beautiful lay out, lots of up and down shots. The most of the last few holes are LONG distances. Beautiful chance to get down next to the lake for 1 hole as well."

"Course is definitely tough. Tee signs are pretty clear, but most holes have multiple pin locations so it’s hard to know where to aim. A lot of elevation changes, and holes 16 & 17 are brutal. Great course. "

"Tight lines and significant elevation change on almost every hole. Bring plenty of water and bug spray in the summer as you won't loop back to your car until hole 18."
