@aarrington88
Pretty disappointing for a paid-access course. Only playable from red tees as they are the only ones marked. No tee boxes. Upkeep was pretty poor, especially holes 15 and 16.
@billc34
New arrows are up hanging under the baskets pointing to the next hole as well as flags marking the tee pads. Took some guessing before but it’s clear now. It’s a nice course to play, worth the trip from Jackson metro area.
@matthewb22
First of all, this is s State Park so I imagine they probably don’t have a lot of funding for a really well maintained discgolf course. That being said… Signage is minimal or nonexistent, no teepads, it’s almost an adventure in the woods trying to find the next tee. The woods are very hilly and beautiful though and the holes challenging as most are blind shots.
@thunderboy190
I really enjoyed this course and I’ll definitely be returning again soon.
@nate4960
Fun technical wooded course. Signage is ok. If playing red tees, they are difficult to determine. We found most of them and guessed on others. Basket location from the tee is a wild guess without UDISC. Some fairways thick and less beaten. The basket on 16 fell to the ground. It us missing bolts and held up with twigs. We attempted to put it back with twigs and seems to be up for now. Hole 18 looks to hold a lot of widespread water at times, it was dry today. Overall a fun course. Leave your set of discs with tree magnets at home, you can thank me later.
@bsthomaston
Very hard to find the tee boxes. Tee boxes are just dirt areas. Hard to find a lot of the baskets and it’s difficult to tell where to throw from the tee box because no visibility on the baskets. Hole 15 doesn’t even look like it has a fairway. Hole 16 has a basket but is crushed beyond repair
@matthewdykes
A little tough but that may just be a me problem
@largedisc69
Technical course. Plenty of fun. Missing signage for 17.
@badguybobby
Trees are kind of annoying but definitely makes for a good time
@bayousbest
Fun course. Lots of up and down, wish the water was better utilized.
@houstonacase
Fun track. Tight lines, elevation, and thick rough. UDisc maps made this easy to navigate.
@cbthorn67
If you lost your wallet out here, it was given to the park ranger
@bayoujones
Trees but nice and relaxing
@rsumral
Lots of fun, lots of gaps to hit, a good number of forehand/lefty holes, loved it. It is generally shaded with a few holes not under the tree canopy. Rough is pretty rough but discs are easy to find. Only a few driver holes, mostly fairway or mids/putter. No water holes but some small creeks to step over. Some holes could be maintained better and signs could be improved. Udisc didn’t work due to spotty cell signal so take a screenshot of the layout before you start. A real hidden gem.

Discathers missing inside row of chains but course is really fun. Rough is ROUGH. Great winter course
@mufasa22
Amazing Layout, Great Course. Definitely not Cary Friendly, but it is Cart accessible except for the fact that 15 doesn’t have a bridge to cross the canal so you have to carry your cart and hope you don’t fall in. Highly recommend a bag due to all of the elevation changes. ***Watch out for Ticks***
@tjcelano2
Really fun course, nice balance of easier holes and some tougher technical ones. Holes 15 could maybe lose a tree or two and watch where you throw on 16 because the underbrush is super thick
@duckduckgoose
Hole 18 is muddy this time of the year, should be drying out soon.
