We had so much fun playing here on our way through Florida! We played white tees to gold baskets, and it was a reasonable course for amateur players. We did have to stop and hunt for our discs a few times, which was a little difficult with the palmetto, but we didn't leave any discs behind! The shade is very nice for warm days. The shot variety was great. It is really cool that there are multiple combinations of tees to baskets that you could play. The signage was easy to read, but it would be nice to have a couple more signs to point out the gold baskets since they can be difficult to see from the tee pad. I would love to come back to play this course again!

I play this course whenever I come to Florida and am really impressed by the new 18 hole layout. I found the White to Gold layout to be challenging but score-able. Some of the lines are tight but fair. Playing it for the first time, I had some trouble finding the gold basket. However, I find no fault with the course and can’t wait to play it again.

Best front 9 in FL I have played. It gets my vote for what it's worth!

@kevindonn1
Fun course. Still getting beat in but improving.

@acebabieee
Awesome course, other than hole 12 - needs some adjusting. Had a very fun time! Thanks ☺️

This course is amazing

@jbkdub
The best signage I have ever seen on a course. Could not be better. Thank you for that. Great shot variety. Very well maintained. Easy and a lot of fun

@sinned47
Obviously this course just had a major upgrade and ratings are behind. They will catch up. One of the cleanest, best marked, well laid out courses I've ever played. Worth the trip.

Cool shot shapes with quality pads and baskets. First time playing in Florida. Definitely enjoyed the low ceilings and technical play.

@willperry
Played long to long. Front 9 needs some trees removed. Every hole except 9 requires near perfect tee shot on every hole to have maybe circle edge putt. I don’t mind challenge. Back nine was fun and very getable.

Really fun! Not being from the area, I was a bit worried about snakes and things but didn't have any issues. Two tee pads and two baskets for every hole with each combo providing different experiences gives this course so much replayability and it was satisfying to do well. Would play over and over again, as long as the course did not get too overgrown.

@stevehardyman
Good variety, a lot of wooded holes, fun course

@jasoniswilder
Such a great course with tee/basket options for all skill levels. I would play this course every day.

@dlm04e
Amazing Hossfield course. Tee signs need updating, but otherwise awesome course.

@intymidator
I remember the old 9 holer. This was my first time playing the new 18. It was a blast!!!

@oilime
Well done Sumter County. Signage was one of the best I’ve scene. Challenging first 9 battling the woods you can find blue on the back 9. I like that there was multiple par 4 holes. Hole 11 beautiful scenery.
