"Guidestones could be cleaned up a little but not a bad course overall, concrete tee pads would bump it up a level as well"

"Course is in great condition. Nice mix of wooded and open holes. Some of the baskets and chains are very old, but they still catch the disc on good putts. "

"There is nothing special about the original mostly open 18 (Lk Russell course) to warrant paying $9 to play it. The new Guidestones course in the woods is so new that navigating it is really difficult. Worse, I had very little cell coverage & couldn’t even use UDisc to help. I’m not sure I could justify the drive and $ to play here again. "

"Well-kept and decent course, but missing Next Tee signs, which would be very helpful in multiple places. There were a few great holes (Hole 14 and the par-4 setup for Hole 15 come to mind) and some other good ones, but a lot of them were pretty basic and mediocre - still fun, but probably could be better. I also feel that anyone who has already paid for a park pass shouldn't have to pay more to play the disc golf course."

"More traditional front 18 that has everything you could want. Woods 18 is glorious as well with some tight but aceable runs. Sweet course overall!"

"Fun a course with plenty of pars and a few birdies to be had for intermediate players. Fairways are mostly open with just a few semi-tight shots off of the tee. Low ceilings come into play a few times too. The course should be mowed more often since it does cost to play. "

"Great course with a mix of open, wooded, short, and long holes; great use of elevation as well. Only thing is I wish it was a little more manicured for a pay-to-play course. Definitely a must play in the area, though."

"Really nice course. A little hard to navigate on 2 or 3 holes. You can easily add the 9 wood holes after 16 and it drops you back at 17. Just take a picture at the start and enjoy a round or two. "

"Lake Russell is definitely an enjoyable 27 hole course. One drawback is that the layout was a bit confusing on the first 18, with baskets naturally leading to 2 or 3 holes down the course. Overall, challenging and fair course though!"

"It was ok. Well maintained course with no signage needed. I think it was overrated simply because of the old baskets and super short hole. No drivers needed. Also the last nine holes are hard to find. Couldn’t find my way after the first two of the extra nine. "

"Great course in a beautiful wooded setting. The holes (at least the main 18) are fair and present some nice challenges. Avoid the cedar trees - they’ll grab your disc and drop it straight down. Very fun over all."

"This is a very solid course that requires all shot types. There is very good elevation changes that challenge shot making skills as well. The fairways are mowed short and the greens are fast on this course. The fairways are also pretty tight with a handful of tight gaps to hit. The rough is obvious but doesn’t penalize you too much. A very good balance. It doesn’t get 5 stars because some tee pads need care and it can be a bit confusing between holes. Needs markers that point to the next tee. "
