@colterr
Really amazing course that is better than quite a few of the top 100 courses I have played. It is a hidden gem. Everything from the maintenance to the overall design is very well thought out. Highly recommended and I think give it a few years and it could easily make the top 100 list.
@isuaggie
Excellent wooded course. Lots of fun throws…particularly on the back nine. A stern test and good workout. (2 pet peeves) - fair amount of cans and bottles on the ground…carry in / carry out!! Mandos are almost always unnecessary and/or gimmicky. Hole 11 is perfect example imo. An excellent hole without the mando.
@geigerhyzer
Really solid course with thoughtful hole design. Well kept and the park is gorgeous
@juiceturd
While there are plenty of aspects that make this a good course, the layout, use of the property, and overall inspiration of this course is lacking. This course is incredibly underwhelming based on the ratings it has and while I'm sure many enjoy it, I wish I had skipped it. The front nine is not super exciting besides a couple holes, the back nine is more enjoyable, but I think it lacks the fun I look for in disc golf. There are some pretty parts of the park, but I think it's not that awe inspiring or beautiful.
@titties
Fun course but doesn't require much variety of shot shaping. No benches and semi uneven turf tees. Course flow gets weird as well
@tothnich
This is as good as disc golf gets (definitely my favorite of the four Top 5 WV courses I played). Beautiful fairways through the woods and along a gorgeous lake. Holes were tough but had very fair lines. Reminiscent of the Steady Ed course at the IDGC. Good tees, good signs, just an all around great experience.
@lordtamale
Loved throwing my circles out here at this gem! The elevation the technical woods. In my top 10 for sure maybe top 5.
@yoinksmcdoinks
Fantastic course. Like a toned down New London and a blast. Shot shapes, elevation, views. Easily a favorite course I’ve gotten to play. A WV gem!
@mahaffey511
Upkeep is amazing. Some benches after the uphill climbs would be nice. Walking backwards to the next tee isn't always fun. Overall I don't know how this isn't the number 1 course in the state. Absolutely gorgeous.
@mastershank
Fun challenging course with good views.
@mattmarkham
A well designed course with a playable amount of challenge. Stairs in some areas could be very beneficial to help reduce erosion.
@bill
Some tee pads need to be releveled. It’s a fun course. Definitely worth playing if you’re in the area, but o would avoid it when it’s wet. There are several slopes that would be dangerous when wet.
@saucertosser21
Some of the best disc golf in the country. Immense wooded lines through beautiful hardwood forest. Great play on elevation, and some committing water shots. Not a single bad hole. If you love disc golf in the woods, this is as good as it gets.
@tblair10
Such a fun woods course with great elevation change! Not incredibly long or hard but very fun, scenic and a great time! Must stop if you’re in the area
@seannygee
pin position indicators at the tees to know which pin is in play for holes with multiple locations. 17s tee signs are switched based of distances, both show them being the blue pad as well. Overall very well designed and incredibly fun course. Great balance of challenge and fairness. I will be back for sure, already recommended the course to some friends!
@smithja7
Tough and beautiful Lake Course. Views in the fall are unmatched. My only critique is I wish the tee pads were a bit longer.
@turkeytom
Great course. What a gem. Great fairways, variety of shots. Tee pads could be a little longer on some holes. Will be back.
@tonythechino
Unbelievablely beautiful course with top tier course design. Great signage of the 2 tees and 3 pin positions. Up there with the greats!
@jpoeltler
This course is amazing. The two tees and multiple pin locations makes this a great course for all skill levels. Beautiful scenery with some great elevation change. Holes reminded of a mix of maple hill, Brewster ridge, and wr Jackson.
@abryant
Best course I've played in WV
