Awesome layout and quite challenging. Love the variety of the holes here. The lake in the middle has plenty fishes and birds around, plenty of yellow billed storks. Whole family can enjoy the park.

Good course could improve with a little care. Baskets are a bit rusty but work as intended. Will visit this course again

A great course in KL! Watch out for the OB, the strokes can add up quickly if you aren't careful! Some tight fairways, island greens and great views definitely make this course worth playing.

Lake Valley (Cheras), an easy access course from KL City. It takes around 10 stations only from Bukit Bintang / TRX KL to Bandar Tun Hussein Onn (MRT) The course comes with superb scenery, there is quite some ppl doing morning dance workout, jogging, Tai Chi, of course Disc Golfing as well, this lead to super good vibes with positive energy. The course is long yet fun, includes hole #10, Par 5 with 700+ feet. If u have a big arm, u will love it. My personal best is birdie for Hole #10, but worse is +9 (Please don't overtake my +9, if can 😂) Overall, the layout is nice and fun.

Fun course with a variety of shots and some good longer holes. Skipped a few holes in the longer grass area because I didn’t have time to be looking for discs.

The course designer have changed the layout few times into perfection. I personally appreciate the hard work and idea of it. It’s nice to play with variety of shot whether for FH/BH player. However there wasn’t any teepad, you will need to check on the ground leveling first before u throw as there are few holes the ground is not even. Great course for amateurs and pro player. Please beware that due tropical country, I suggest u bring water, long pants, good amount of coverage hat and you are set to enjoy the game. Let’s go!!!

Loved this course, but be mindful of weaver ants near the trees! Don't forget your sunscreen too. #discgolfing #naturelovers

Nice park course with some difficult holes mix in between some nice and more easy forward par 3 holes. It’s definitely worth a visit. The tee pads can be hard to find, so use the UDisc map for directions. The park gets really busy after 5pm so try to play the course before that.

An amazing long course where you actually need endurance to finish the back nine. Very well design and still in building since James (course designer and best course guide/card mate) is improving it more and more. Not advised for beginners, the holes are long and tough!

Overall it’s great course. I think design is intended for intermediate players, it offers variety of shots and skills. Be aware that there are no teesigns, so you will probably need local player to navigate. Before 9am there can be a lot of people jugging.

This course is absolutely beautiful! Even though the teepads are still in the making, the course plays out nicely. Good flow and good shot variety. Storm drains and the lake create a challenge and especially the lakeside holes require good accuracy. Some of the rough areas are really rough and especially the storm drainage area on the left from #6 and straight ahead from #8 and #9 is really tough to maintain so it is very rough if you throw your disc there. It is also worth noting that the course is on a very active park so it is best played in the morning. Afternoons and weekends there are more people and you might have to wait your shot for a while, since people don't know that much about disc golf. This also creates a unique chance for interaction and if you come from abroad, you may get to spread the joy of disc golf to some curious passerbys. All in all a good challenge and definitely a course in making and worth to come to play even from further distance away.

The course offers a variety of shot opportunities for both forehand and backhand players, making it one of the longest courses in Malaysia. While the course is enjoyable, due to the tropical climate, it is advisable to bring water to stay hydrated, wear appropriate footwear for a comfortable experience, wear long pants, and a hat or cap. Utilizing a course map or the UDisc app is helpful for navigation, given the limited signage on the course. Overall, Lake Valley Disc Golf Course offers a rewarding experience for players seeking both distance and technical challenges in a picturesque setting. Is it pay-to-play? No, it's a free 18-hole course, making it accessible to all players.

Lake Valley is a satisfying trek. The latest layout iteration has lines that leverage changes in elevation and demands a variety of shots. The longest disc golf hole in Malaysia is here on hole 10 (over 200m). This course requires you to think and to strategize. Challenging, yet fun. Each hole has blue markers for tee off points and baskets feature Next Tee markers to help with navigation. The main 18 holes can be completed in 90 minutes with 2 persons playing. If you are in KL and want a disc golf challenge, you can find it at Lake Valley DGC!

Some nice holes but tee and direction signs should be needed since the flow of the course is bad. Walked over 4km for a short 18 hole course says everything. I think I was throwing from the right spots, just followed Udisc. Skipped hole 16 since it was a very dangerous blind hole in a public park. Could probably be a very nice short hole course in this park just using the normal short grass areas.

My first round at Lake Valley's new layout and had a great time because I got to use 90% of the discs in my bag! There is a lot of variety in the holes from big open fairways to tight low ceiling shots. The holes are a pleasant challenge to an intermediate to advance disc golfer requiring you to control your drives to stay in bound and out of the water. Definitely has to be played after 9:30am when the joggers have cleared out the park. Signage is poor so best if played with a local to guide you through. And wear long pants - some areas the long grass is tall and could cut up your shins.
