Not for beginners— people need to realize it’s a Big Boy course and birdies are attainable by those who will play DGPT events. It’s tough, and when it’s really windy— it’s real tough. It definitely kicked my butt

What you expect of a championship course, it takes two good shots most holes.

Course is beautiful, but definitely challenging. Long drives and some holes with tight lines, it's a great mix and definitely something that waco was missing.

Great Design, but way to many holes are not gettable. Need to raise pars on some holes or re-position the baskets to a more friendly location. Not every hole needs to be all about distance. Would be great to see more holes <250 that focus on accuracy.

Tough course for average arms to get more than a few birdie looks. New tee pads going in are definitely big enough and nice for now. They are felt so it will be interesting to see how they hold up when it rains and they get some mud on them. Overall though I like the layout even though as an MA2 player I will be fortunate to get 2-3 birdies max.

With allowances made for being a temp course, this is a long, challenging course with tricky lines, few gettable holes for the average arm, lots of low trees, and some nice elevation. If you have 425 ft + power, then maybe 6-8 holes are birdieable. If not, maybe 4-6. Maybe. The par 4s are work, with lots of uphill and trees. Lots of roller or sky anny holes, a few with water in play.. Note that gate is $10 and cart $29 PER PERSON. Ouch. Hoping a few holes get shortened.
