This is such an odd course. It’s very touchy which is accurate but it’s also very “poke and hope.” I like the shortness because it’s more of a putter training course, but where some lines are good in progression towards the basket there are other lines that only set up a par at best or have a 100’ overly technical dodging of trees putt. I’m sure the course was built on what was leftover land from the church. If it is being used to introduce people into dic golf then I think it’s an extremely big deterrent. Make it a 80’-100’ ace race course for that. I played the longs which were just “set up to fail” location. I think a little bit of revising to help cater to a beginner player would be the best thing for this course

New layout is longer and harder but there are short tees and with two skill layouts you can get creative on how to play. Still some clearing needs to be done but it will challenge you.
@jknife
Short, narrow, and technical, but close to home. Could use some clean up around the baskets to include a landing area. Still had fun and appreciate the opportunity to play.

Amazing to get a course at Lake Oconee. It’s a very simple course that can be played by anyone of any skill level. It’s clear that a ton of work went into creating it! The course is almost completely in the woods and is well shaded.

Most of the baskets are missing.

This is a rework after the church expanded property and it’s a completely different course than before. Lots of mechanics I’m still learning but was a lot of fun
