About the course
2025 Update: Thank you for your patience with some of the improvement projects on the course. Most fairways and new pin settings are complete and new tee signs are installed. But some course directional signs are still in process. Also, a full set of new baskets are coming, which will allow for a short and long basket option on each hole. But until then, we are making the best of the baskets that are available.

Lakeside Hills Disc Golf Course has 19 challenging holes carved out on multiple hillsides overlooking Lake Olathe on a former ball golf course. Secluded, mostly disc only land use with a fair amount of trees, elevation, and prairie. There is a mixture of hilly/flat, open/wooded, and long/short options throughout the course.
Short and long pin placements rotated frequently, with potential shortest layout to be approximately 5,000 feet, and longest layout to be approximately 10,000 feet. 10 holes have 2 baskets in play. Yellow baskets always in a shorter position, and if a Red basket installed, it will be in a longer position.

One of the best courses I have played! I’m from the Wichita area and travel around for work and I’ve been playing for a little over a year and this course is right up there for me with Knockwood at Santa Fe Lake in Andover, Ks! A lot of shot variety, some beautiful open fairways, and some amazing views! Well worth the play!
