About the course

Ledgewood Pass is aptly named as this 35 acre property features large protruding ledge throughout the tightly wooded fairways of the course. A “pass” geographically speaking refers to difficult to traverse terrain. The course name includes this term in reference to the terrain and topography, but also to describe the difficulty of the challenge that the course itself presents. Designed by 2010 PDGA World Champion, Eric McCabe, the layout was designed to present the player with fairways that demand specific shot shapes but remains fair to the player by rewarding good shots as the lines demanded are clear. Course flow was a priority in design so as to keep players moving and not doubling back down the fairways and slowing down groups behind them. Safety was another chief concern and the fairways do not present risks to players on other holes throughout the course. The land itself features a wide variety of geological and ecological features, as well as diverse flora, and the course was laid out to highlight these features and diversity to present a unique feel to each and every hole. A winding creek, a scenic wetland, a vernal pool, and towering boulders, the walk through the course doubles a nature hike. Having premium course equipment was of great importance to us as we planned the construction of this course. Every hole has beautiful red and blue Dynamic Discs’ Veteran baskets, 12x6 premium blue turf tee pads, clear and accurate signage, red outdoor benches for seating, and trash cans. The pro shop at the courses sells a variety of beers, snacks, and drinks, and of course discs, bags and other disc golf accessories. There is a bar by the front windows so you can take in the wooded scenery while you enjoy a beverage with very comfortable stools with padded seats and backrests. There is also outdoor seating with picnic tables. And you can’t forget the Throw Lab where we have a 12x6 turf tee pad for you to throw into a net with a TechDisc putter, mid, fairway, or driver to learn more about the full telemetry of your throw. The building is fully ADA accessible, but we do not recommend that people with limited mobility go out on the course as the terrain is not well suited to anyone who may have difficulty hiking. With our on premise liquor license, it should be noted that no outside alcohol is permitted on the property, and alcoholic beverages purchased here must be consumed on the property. Even empty containers are not permitted to leave the property. The property has ample parking for events and general busy days, and is located on route 1 just a few minutes from exits 25 and 32 on I-95. The course is open dawn to dusk, 7 days a week, all year long. The pro shop is open from 10am-6pm or dusk, whichever comes first. Come and try your hand at this uniquely challenging course. We hope to see you soon at Ledgewood Pass.

2 and a half years in the making! Fun, tight wooded course with a great pro shop on site. Grab a Ledgewood Lager before, or after your round!

Signs aren’t 100% accurate; some slight dog legs are almost perfectly straight. Tough ass course. Demanding shots and landing zones must be hit to score here. Great mix of holes, EMac. Layout is almost perfect. Great job all around I look forward to seeing it worn in.
