Leland Disc Golf Course

Short course, great use of the property. Great for practicing putt and approach. Some fun short, technical wooded holes. Definitely recommend for a quick round.

This is a beautiful course that would be perfect for any beginner! I had a blast on the course and can't wait to see if they add in a standard 18 hole course!

Need to label the mandatory signs, can be confusing.

Bring bug spray & apply liberally. Decent course, way better than the one they closed. Signs could be better with a little work but this looks like a work in progress. Easy to get to from downtown Wilmington.

I was attacked by a swarm of wasps just left of fairway hole 10. Logs and underbrush need to be addressed for player safety.

Needed a mow. Other than that really nice course. Bring mosquito spray for the woods.

Super fun course

This course is great. Improvements could be made. Too many holes that dogleg right. Glass still present on holes 11 and 12. There is a striking difference between the wooded holes and the holes in the open. This is the type of course a community could form around. If you’re in the area, definitely worth playing a round.

Good little course. Could use better signage to basket and next hole.

Tough shorties

Course is in great shape and very pretty, but the second combo hole on this layout is not a good hole imo. The only way birdie is in play is with a throw in on your second shot, there isn’t a pure line I see to get in the circle for a birdie look. Should be a par 4 given the lack of a pure, repeatable line.

This course is the new gym of Leland and the designer and rec department, and the town of Leland did a phenomenal job!

Short, but very technical. A lot of fun!

Course is brand new so still pretty rough

Pretty day to go disc golfing. Lots of chairs to sit, trash can at the front lot. Going to come out here with a machete (not the disc) next time for the bad throws. Lol

Great course, mix of open bombers and technical tight wooded lines. Stable tee pads and benches along the route as well as trash cans. Cart friendly. Worth checking out if your in the Wilmington area visiting, and if your a local it’s sure to become a new favorite course.

Great layout! Mix of left and right, open and technical holes. Love the 12 hole layout, sometimes 9 is not enough and 18 is too much. Course is brand new and work is constantly being done to get it looking nice. As play on the course grows the rough and fairways will be broke in nicely. Love the mando signs and drop zones for them. Fun course for all ages and skill levels.
