Fun course in a cool little property. Tough to find around without udisc. Could be a really nice course with some more love
@bushwacker197
I was solo but still had a great time. The holes were technical in that there were trees and hills and brushy areas, but I never lost a disc.
@lincoln23
Not super interesting, no real tees, but worth playing if you’re in town.
@kylewagnersep
Overall not too bad. From what I hear it is a fairly new course so tee pads and signage still need to be put up. Still had fun though.
@lukefunkhouser
Tons of room for improvement! Tee pads are uneven dirt gravel and rocks. Big trees are awesome, I would have loved to have seen them used to force a shaped shot more.. About half the baskets aren’t plum. Not bad for little Winthrop.
@jshier
A teacher there does not support people using this course.
@sugardanny
Best thing about this course is it’s the only one within 50 miles, so worth playing. But half the holes are baskets put in the brush with no maintenance, you can be searching for your disc going down the middle. 8th hole is the worst, just a walk through the brush.
@wjreynolds65
Went to throw while I was in town and got lost on hole 2. I saw some locals going to tee 1 and I asked if I could tag along. Great group of guys and I got to play their own back 9 tees. Had a blast and would recommend if you wanna play a small local course with mostly technical lines.
@nicholasjohnson
Lovely little course! It took me two rounds to find where all the tee pads were, but I just threw from wherever I thought was fun. Probably pretty easy to lose a disc in the shrubs/tall grass, but still super cool. I will certainly play here any time I come to town.
@jjandkd
What a gift to the community this course is! Primitive, with dirt tees and simple markings, but varied and fun! Every hole is distinct, and they all use the terrain in interesting ways. Holes 1-5 are beginner friendly, which I appreciate as a first year player. Holes 6-9 longer and harder. Discs can be hard to find in the grass on 6 and 7, so having a spotter is a good idea. Wearing long pants may be a bonus due to lots of schrub.
@rozziepoo
Considering it was the only course in the area, it wasn’t bad. Markings are not great, but with UDisc, they were findable. Pretty fun course overall.
@leremy
The baskets were nice but poor design and markings
@mvswope
This is a fun course to play if you are in the area. A spotter is helpful on 6-7-8. Udisc layout was helpful in finding the next tee on the first time playing the course. Great baskets and nice variety of holes.
@rileysh
Nice & fun course for intermediate golfers. Holes 6 and 7 are extremely difficult to find discs in the very tall grass. I suggest compromising a distance throw for one you can find along the path if you feel you can’t clear the tall grass. Very fun course all around with some challenging terrain and fun features. I will definitely play again when I’m back in town, especially if they clean up some of the sage brush and tall grass.
@knarfks
High grass on several holes, 7 and 8 specifically make it difficult to find discs. Hole 8 should be set shorter to continue the intermediate/beginner theme is the course, 380 uphill with tons of brush and poor trails don't work well. Teepads are dirt, not that big of a deal, but finding them without udisc map is not advisable. Has potential to be a decent 9 hole courses with some more work.
@mrfelt
Fairways are a little overgrown but super fun course for what it is. Looks like alternate tess for a few extra holes too?
@jonmoehl
Fun, easy par 3 course. A little bit of everything. T pads could use a little work.
@nomad2x2
spray painted rocks for designation on holes some updated pads with gravel!
