"Loved the layout other than the extra walk between holes. You can see some thought went into the back nine and I thought it was fine. A couple of hole were starting to get a little overgrown but I bet it will be nice in the winter. "

"Arrows on baskets pointing to the next tee are nice, and the multiple baskets per hole are great! Labeling the short placements as blue is inconsistent with decades old design standards. The course grooming is good, and when cement tees, signage, and small foot bridges are complete the course will be excellent. "

"4.25 in my book. The tweaks to the old holes are great and the layout of the new holes does a great job taking advantage of the land. Some long walks between holes and the dirt pads on the back 9 are my only gripes on this course and that's being nitpicky. Get all the pads in and it might just be my new favorite in the area. Definitely my favorite views for a course in the area "

"This course has a lot of potential. As of writing this review the course design is questionable. The wooded holes are not only poorly designed they are littered with random trees where there could be potential lines to throw. Nearly all of them are “poke and hope” and are almost Unscorable. It’s a shame because the property is beautiful and has huge potential to be a championship level course. Right now it’s a hard and boring course to play. Give this course a few years to mature and grow. "

"Fun course, didn’t have time to finish so only threw 11. Front 9 were great, nice mixture of shots and target options for most holes. Recommend using smart layout to find baskets. Looks like it’s coming together nicely and a lot of work has been done. Target and par are currently wrong for hole 7, short target showing par 4 and king target showing par 3"

"Haven’t played this course in over a decade… Incredible improvements. Would not have known where baskets were without this app. After playing through it once there are a few holes that had extra baskets for more manageable throws. The distance for most of the holes are for pro players. Once they add maps to the tees (extra basket locations) this course will be gold. Hole 1 was my least favorite hole and needs to be adjusted for sure. Besides that it was a super fun course"

"Fairly well maintained, but has brutal undergrowth on most holes. Unless you're very accurate it can be grueling to play."

"I’m an well researched extreme beginner, so I know what I’m supposed to do but my body hasn’t yet caught up. This course I hadn’t played before so this time I went blind. The holes are very very well designed but very very challenging UNLESS you play the short baskets which I did not. Beginning players SHOULD play this course but should also expect really bad scores. It’s a beautiful and difficult course I plan on playing again shortly."

"This course has the potential to be the premier course in Omaha. I know that a lot of work has gone into it lately and it is coming along nicely. The front 9 has concrete tees and most holes have A and B baskets. As of this rating the back 9 has not gotten it's tee pads, yet. This is a pretty technical course, especially the back 9."

"Someone recently said this will eventually be the best in Omaha. Perhaps, but def not until there is some signage. Presently there is none at all. You have no way to know your target & are left guessing where the basket might be. If that weren’t enough, the baskets have no color band around the top, so they’re all but invisible in the woods from a couple 100 ft away. Lots of guesswork. A very frustrating DG experience today. "

"Challenging course playing from the longs. Good mixture of wooded and open holes. Back half of the course can be a bit rough with long walks between holes. A lot of work has been put into the course over the last year and it's only going to get better."

"Once there are pads and signs this will probably be a 5 star course. Super varied with highly technical woods shots as well as park style smashers. Only possible complaints are that it is super prone to getting overly muddy and there are some long walks between holes. "

"#5 plays to right hand bend. No bend. Basket is at the turn. Can see from tee box. #6 plays much shorter. Basket is immediate left hand turn at first fairway bush. #7 and #9 are 550+’ bombers. Both par 3. Two big ones needed to get there. Pretty sure 9 is at or slightly over 600’ #11 basket is behind the fir trees to the right at the trail fork. Open area inside firs. #13 and #14 aren’t worth trying. Short, tight serpentine fairways. Begging "

"Cut the course some slack... it's not set in stone and in the works still. You can't expect much when under construction. It takes a whole community, many hands & work days to make a quality FREE course to the public. Be THANKFUL ORIGINAL: A good break from Seymour and Hummel. Course has huge potential. Only 12 real holes currently. Holes 13-15 exist, but are not really navigable. Once tee pads & signs get in the ground, plus a little more manicuring it will be a top course in the metro."

"Course is undergoing a redesign so it is not in its best condition atm but has some serious potential. Redesign is almost complete! Just teepads left to be put in and some fairway clean up. The new design is seriously challenging and amazing at the same time with multiple looks at the lake"
