Caution
The layout on this course is really bad. Has you walking back-and-forth and back-and-forth between holes. And the baskets are all rusted up could be something special if there was more thought put in!

About the course

A moderately challenging new course in The Lincoln Homestead State Park. 9 baskets (Black Hole) with both short and long tee areas. (as of 5/20, mostly mats with some well cleared, natural tees). Partly open, some tunnel shots, some extreme doglegs, all with plenty of trees, elevation and natural OB. A pavilion with working bathrooms are present near the parking lot. There are even some handicap accessible practice baskets.

Super rough design! Beautiful spot for a great course - but this isn’t it! Made it through the front nine - barely!

T pads need replacing pretty badly and signage for next T pads would be good. Arrows on baskets work well. Some signs are old and need replacing while others are missing or broken or on the ground. And the baskets could obviously be upgraded as they have probably been here for a little while and they’re also the less expensive ones that don’t last as long. Overall, I’d play it again because the layout is pretty decent for a nine hole course and it’s a really pretty course.
