About the course

Located around MNP Community & Sport Centre, this course is one of Calgary’s newest. Tee 1 is located on the south side of the parking lot and the course takes you around the sports complex alongside the river and pathways. Please remember this is a shared park and make sure it is safe before you throw. If there isn’t a safe path to throw, either skip the hole or select another spot to throw from that is safe. The course is in a shared use park with a lot of paved pathways. It does make use of sloped areas that can get tricky in the winter to navigate, but it is possible to play the course with mobility challenges when there is no snow on the ground. Plenty of benches and picnic tables around to grab a seat when needed.

Tee boxes are nonexistent and for such a short course it was extremely hard to navigate. Terrible layout, every shot goes across a different fairway and there’s a huge danger of hitting someone. It’s not bad for a short round, but I would recommend just travelling the extra 10 minutes to a much better course.

It’s a busy course for park users. Be careful and always look down the hole before throwing as it can be very dangerous. It’s a beginner level course on a mixed use park.
