New Top 5. Great variety and a real challenge. I'll be back to give it another run! Campground on site works great.

Hole 8 tee box is underwater at of April 7th 2025. Looks like they are draining the lake at a good pace so not sure how long they will be wet. Later holes 16-18 are a bit squishy but it just rained so that could change.
@billthecrusher
Main will test your skills (kicked my butt after 36 including short neighbor 18). Nice everything and very long & technical. Flow could use "next tee -->" inserts on baskets but lovely place

At the top, the expectations get higher. I've been fortunate to play 20+ udisc state #1 courses, and LBC definitely belongs in this club. That said, a few areas that knocked my score down and could be improved. First, wayfinding could be improved, even to have signs marking where the course starts, which is not obvious from the road without Udisc, and between several holes where there is a long walk. A second critique is course design. Though fair and challenging, the distances are pretty repetitive, and feel like all are either 320-370 ft par 3s or 550-750 par 4s. Lots of reviews call it a bomber course, which I'm not sure is fair, but true it's hard to score low without 375-400 ft of distance. Given the woods and hills, a couple 230-260' technical throws, perhaps on hole 5 or 6, would have mixed things up. Finally, as a LHBH pref thrower and as someone who appreciates when all throwers are challenged by a variety of shot shapes, fewer left to right shot shapes would strengthen the course design, especially in the woods. Hole 7 (not in the woods) is a great example. The LHBH line is a tricky turnover which I liked, but the basket placement on the left of the trees by the water means the RHBH is just hyzer-hyzer-bird. If the basket was on the right it would challenge the righty to throw forehand or turnover (I get that it would also be close to the next tee pad, but that can be fixed). Let me repeat that this is a great course, and I'd be thrilled to get to play it often. Also, a bit of a pass since this is in a state park, but that makes wayfinding all the more essential. Well done to the locals for this wonderful course; I hope development continues!

If you don't know you're gonna learn 🤣 some holes are tough but when you play them right it's so rewarding. Other times... disc golf is fun!
@alexhertzog
I can see why this is an a tier tournament course. Opportunities for incredible shots and a wide variety of holes and shots. I wasn’t prepared for the amount of walking up and down, steep, levees and hills.
@cntbg23
Beautiful course but not fun in 30mph winds or if you don’t throw over 350. Seems as if they’re still working on some of the shorter tee pads
@eashotts
Holes 7-10 are missing. Ask for a discount at the guard shack and don't take the lady's cheap grin and let her just tell you "sorry to hear that" like she did to me.
@okkevin
You better come to play. Tight lines and good distance. Fantastic course
@sammcmalone
Absolutely phenomenal course. I’ve played 60 courses all over Alabama, Florida, and some in northern California; this is the nicest course I’ve ever played!! 10/10 recommend. I did play it the weekend after Big Rip ‘23, so it was in phenomenal shape.
@biggdaddyman
Love it just wish I lived closer to play there more.
@squishiboy
Dam holes are closed so whole nine through 12 are not playable
@jreedmissippi
It’s a bomber course if you’re not a bomber play the other one in the park. If you ARE a bomber you’ll love it
@jessray
The views on the levee are the best! Great course and nice mixture of tough shots and a couple easy pars.
@twelborn90
One of the best courses in the area. Played after a good rain and it was tough but doable. Great baskets and tee pads.
@kennybrister
Absolutely top notch this course is very nice and super fun and challenging.
@skylerdane95
Best course in the state by far. It’s ready for The Big Rip! Can’t wait!
@dparker49
Beautiful!
@briangibson
Great course
