Didn't see a single lizard. Fun desert course, Some holes are too long for me (and blind from tee), also were repetitive in design and throws.

Tough course to rate! Beautiful views, great individual holes, epic lines. Also, every tee was 200-400 feet from the last, my discs disappeared in the brush and dust, and after the 5th blind 600+ foot hole I was spent.

Very windy up in the mountains. Amazing course though. Definitely one to play if looking for one while passing through.

Fun course with good variety. Tees are inconsistent and there's a few blind shots but overall worth the stop

Nice course. Don’t know why people would give a bad rating because of wind or trouble finding their discs. I found it a long, beautiful and challenging course. Lost my pdga black Axiom Crave on 18. Note don’t throw dark colored discs.

Liz is a desert course masterpiece and a big one at that. 40 baskets total counting the practice basket. From a pitch and putt course and beginner options on the main course to a ~1000 foot uphill par 5 (long position on 11), and a top of the world shot on 27 that makes Delaveaga's look like child's play, Lizard is massive and has everything. There's tons of options and layouts for all levels of play. Simply a stunning and wild, desert course on the edge of the city that can feel incredibly remote despite being so easily accessible. You often won't see another person, especially on the course, on a weekday. You will, however, see rabbits, lizards, coyotes, magpies, and surprisingly few snakes (I've seen one gopher snake in 100+ rounds here). Anything less than 5/5 should be criminal and Lizard should be considered one of the best in Nevada/the West. Easily one of the best courses I've played, especially when comparing desert courses. Tips - Follow UDisc or burn the map by the 1 tee into your brain/phone your first time or two out here. I remember my first time. - Track your shots well and try not to throw too many earth toned discs, especially on long shots, of which there are many. Lizard can be a disc graveyard if you're not careful. - Don't forget which juniper you're using as your bearing when searching for your shot because, well, that's easy to do, as you will see. - Look for arrows on baskets and blue stakes that guide your way to the next tee. The blue stake system could use some refurbishing. Your best bet is still to guide yourself using uDisc until it's lodged in your noggin'. - Don't lose hope. This course can be brutal, especially if you're a beginner playing all 27 in the wind. The Lower 9 Short loop on here (uses 3 red intermediate baskets/tees on 1, 3, and 6 to create 12 total holes) is probably the most beginner friendly option here besides the pitch and putt. Tack on 10 and 18 for 2 more friendly holes. - There's a lot of blind baskets from the tee, especially playing the Lower Loop normally, but that's half the fun. It's a good thing. - Middle and Upper Loops are slightly more advanced and less open than the Lower Loop. More opportunities to lose your disc/mind/sense of direction. However the Lower Loop is long, especially with baskets in the longest positions. Bring your grunt. - All three 9-hole loops (Lower Loop, Middle Loop, Upper Loop) start and end at/very near the parking lot. This is very nice. - Treat this is an adventurous desert hike because it is. Lots of elevation gain and loss. Don't wear sandals, moron. Pants are also nice unless you get off on sagebrush and juniper scratches. Try not to get stabbed in the eye when going into junipers for discs either. I speak from experience. - Water fountains/spigots turned on from around late spring until around the first freeze. Hydrate, fool.

I don't know if it's always like this but it is just way too windy. I hate when I throw a good shot that I'm playing a certain way because of the wind. And then 300 feet into its flight.A 20 mile an hour gust from a different direction.Throws my disc toward takes me forty five minutes to find it. I'm just not good enough at dg yet to enjoy this course in the wind

Open desert style course. Can be challenging in the wind. Still a fun course despite only having juniper trees that can mostly be thrown over

Long haul, huge drives, no shade, lots of lost discs. Too much looking for discs in sage brush when you should be hucking.

Beautiful course but spent more time looking for discs than throwing them. Definitely bring a friend and keep an eye on each others shot have played all over and this is the hardest course to find your shot on. Bright colors are a must

Fun course. Good amount of par 4s. Also a good amount of blind shots, which is a slight downside.

This is a huge disc golf course/complex I wouldn't recommend going to play the full thing without a guide. That being said, this course is a monster! Big arms will love and everyone who goes will spend some time looking for their disc. You probably wont play many courses like it because there are Juniper bushes the size of trees, Everywhere! First timers should play the blue baskets on the pitch and putt and maybe the red 12 on the big boy courses front nine.

Perfect weather, minimal wind. Families started showing up around noon, which slows things down a lot!
