@shawnmc
Unreal course now and cant imagine what it will be like when finished! The people putting this course in need a medal. Awesome job!! Wind and distance makes in challenging but fair. Absolutely loved it! Well done
@rozziepoo
Unique and fun course at Long Beach. Still under construction. Wind is a factor.
@ultimatewilliam
Props to people who are working on the course. While there’s lots to improve, there have been many improvements since last year including adding 3 holes, adding new concrete tee pads (work in progress, only 3 or 4 so far), new tee signage and next tee directions, and the homeless encampment isn’t there anymore (although still a fair amount of trash). Keep it up folks, I applaud you! Course itself has a mix of trees and dunes giving it some variety and difficulty. And the occasional wind from the ocean. Be mindful of where your disc lands because of the tall grass. Got a few bug bites, so you may want some bug spray, but it wasn’t too bad. Baskets could use some flags, but otherwise we’re fine. Looking forward to coming again next year. (And giving 4 stars if they keep up with the improvements)
@maxpower77
Probably no budget for it, but having a green that you can see and not worry about falling into a big, breaking an ankle, or spending 7 minutes searching for each disc would be good 😂 Playing disc golf by the beach is always a pleasure, but this course is wild and somewhat treacherous. There were new tee pads being paved while we played which is a great start.
@averycoulombe
It's clear that the course is intended to be upkept and built off of, but in its current state it was okay. I look forward to the new installations past hole 2.
@lightplays
This is part of a course. It has potential but needs the basics like tee pads. It luls you into a false sense of security with a nice concrete pad on hole one. That's the last I saw. Bring long pants and a flamethrower to combat the horde of mosquitoes that will descend to feast on you anywhere within 15 feet of the trees. Nice that it's so close to the beach though.
@joomoney82
For a course that is in progress it is great.
@jimmydicknose
For a not-yet-finished course, this course is AWESOME!! The tall grass is sparse enough that finding discs is still easy, the scenery is crazy beautiful, and the wildlife don't seem bothered by people.
@podopez
I love this course. Baskets are great. Tee areas are easy to find. Tee areas could be made nicer but this course is great
@mmmerlino
Unique wooded and windy experience. A+ effort on making a course here though. 🤷🏻♂️
@natedub
Great baskets......The course would likely be a swamp after a storm, but the ground was dry today. The ground needs a lot of cleanup, wear good foot/ankle protection. Mosquitos will be bad in some spots, but that's common for the whole area in LB. Some extremely narrow shots would make a challenge for the best players, but the course is far from ready to be officially "open" at this time for the general public,as u disc indicates. Yes, the course has potential, and will be a lot of fun once the fairways/tree gaps/ground conditions are addressed. Great to see long beach developing another course. Keep it up, I look forward to seeing the progress.
@timkgrass
Super flooded. Had to skip the first 5 holes, but the last 5 were a ton of fun. Played my family, who never play, on Thanksgiving and had great time. Played same time last year and no problems with the water so not sure what changed but this course is super fun and unique. Would definitely give it 5stars if it wasn’t a wetland in the first half of the course.
@properpixel
Definitely some potential and I love the thought and care that’s gone into this. Keep it up, there’s a gem hiding here! But those first 4 holes are way too narrow. You need to be perfect on your lines to have any chance.
@slgates
Great start to a new course on the peninsula. So excited to play some more as time progresses!
@fester1620
just keep swimming... actually worse then the first time I was here.
@ldmollerup
This course is super underrated and has ALOT of potential. Will definitely play this course when I'm in the area, and hoping they continue to improve it!
@noahremillard
Has the potential to be a fun and challenging course, still needs a lot of work to be finished!
